Motorola Razr2 V9x (AT&T)

Design Except for a new black licorice hue, the V9x shows no differences from the V9. It's the same shape and size (4 inches by 2 inches by 0.5 inch; 4.1 ounces) and has the same camera lens and external speaker. The exterior controls are also the...

The Motorola Razr2 V9x retains the slim and eye-catching Razr2 design while adding new features to an already impressive assortment of goodies. It's a good performer, too

The Motorola Razr2 V9x lacks a speakerphone shortcut and its memory card slot is located behind the battery cover. Also, watching videos on the external display is a tad cumbersome

The Motorola Razr2 V9x adds welcome improvements to an already excellent phone.

Motorola Razr 2 V9 (AT&T) Test Report

A stylish, superskinny clamshell with innovative, versatile touch controls but some design flaws.

Gorgeous display ; thin and sleek ; Supports IM and speedy 3G

Shiny exterior is a grease magnet ; Slightly heavier than its competition

Motorola RAZR2 V9

The RAZR2 is a pleasing sequel to the V3, and should invigorate interest in what is now a hallmark franchise for Motorola.

Gorgeous, expansive external screen, Very fast interface, Even thinner than the original

Menu organisation is illogical, Might be too wide for some, Low specs on the camera

Motorola RAZR2 V9m (Verizon)

Verizon's RAZR2 manages some significant upgrades but doesn't hold up to the RAZR2s from AT&T and Sprint.

Motorola RAZR2 V9 (AT&T)

AT&T's RAZR sequel offers superior voice quality in noisy environments, a robust Web browser, and the best multitasking of the bunch.

Sleek and sturdy design ; Excellent voice quality and noise-canceling ; Can multitask with music playing ; Very good Opera browser ; Loud speaker

Smudges easily with fingerprints ; No over-the-air music purchases ; Incompatible with Video Share service

Motorola RAZR2 V9m (Sprint)

Sprint's next-gen RAZR is an excellent voice and multimedia phone wrapped in a sexy, rock-solid design.

Sleek and sturdy design ; Can view videos on external display ; Cheap and fast music downloads ; Good voice quality

Some buggy applications ; Smudges easily with fingerprints ; Can't multitask with music playing

Motorola Razr2 V9 (AT&T)

After three years of touting the Razr brand, Motorola has yet to give up on the thin phone that jumpstarted the skinny-handset trend. Motorola has come out with the second-generation set of the Razr, dubbed the Razr2. While we admit to feeling a little...

The Motorola Razr2 V9 is a fabulous-looking phone clad in steel and glass. It has HSDPA support plus a 2-megapixel camera, a music player, and good sound quality and battery life.

The Motorola Razr2 V9 has skinny side buttons and a rather flat keypad. We also wished there were one-push access to the music player plus one for the speakerphone.

The Motorola Razr2 V9 is a great successor to the first Razr. Despite a few quibbles, it has an eye-catching design, solid performance, and an impressive feature set.

Motorola RAZR2 V9m (Sprint)

The flagship feature on this handset though is the more than 30 channels of SprintTV which can be displayed on the V9m's outside screen, along with the beefy built-in speaker that's loud enough to entertain you and your neighbors on any extended...

Sprint TV on external screen. Very good voice quality. Allows all third-party Java programs

Java stability and compatibility issues. Unimpressive camera. No official e-mail option

Sprint's top-of-the-line feature phone looks and feels luxurious, and playing Sprint TV on the front screen is a fun trick. What's astonishing is that there are no included e-mail applications and some Java programs could be more stable.

Motorola MOTORAZR² V9m

Finally, the next-generation Motorola Razr2 -- this model is packed with extras, including a 2-megapixel camera, 65MB of onboard storage (so there's no real need for an optional memory card unless you want to listen to a lot of music), and a spacious...

Motorola RAZR2 V9 Review

The Motorola RAZR2 V9 is a good phone, though we can't help but feel underwhelmed. When it comes down to it, there just isn't much to get excited about. It's larger and heavier than its CDMA brother, and the build quality isn't quite up to par. The...
