Motorola U9 review: Motorola U9

The Motorola U9 offers an attractive design, a decent music player with stereo Bluetooth, and an appealing display.

The Motorola U9's controls are flat and slippery and its memory card is in an inconvenient location. Its menus can be sluggish and its photo quality is poor.

The Motorola U9 is a mostly reliable music phone with an eye-catching design. We had a few complaints, but it makes up for its deficiencies with good call quality.

Motorola MOTO U9 Review

Today, here is the second generation Motorola phone with this design language, the MOTO U9. Strangely, Motorola has dropped the PEBL line-name and has branded the new phone just as MOTO itself. However, the look is similar and the soft forms definitely...

Motorola ROKR U9 Review

Even if it has reduced its personnel to the lowest numbers in all the history of the company, the mobile division of Motorola still lives, and another phone faces the light of day. Motorola U9 is a mid-budget clamshell that targets those people that...

I have praised the phone's design, which is a little bit unusual. Another positive trait of the phone could be the low price. I would also enlist here the presence of a microSD slot and the very nice OLED external display

I was disappointed by the battery's life expectancy and the very poor sales package, which doesn't contain anything but the phone. Also, I have noticed that sluggishness of the device, even when not running any applications at all. Sales Package...

Motorola ROKR U9

Combine the PEBL with a Linux-based OS and you get the stylish and capable Motorola ROKR U9 . The ROKR U9 is a compact, but not cramped, flip with a feature set that includes a 2MP camera, voice dialing, expandable memory up to 4GB, and all the...

The weight of the phone is no muscle maker either. With the super light MOTO U9 phone, only 87.5 grams, no need to sweat over carrying it. Bulgy phones are the thing of the past! Do not force yourself to carry a new or old phone that is the weight of a...

Motorola MOTOJEWEL U9 review

Blinged up version of the U9

External floating outer display ; Music player with touch sensitive music controls ; MicroSD card support ; Budget price ; Girly accessories

Disappointing 2-megapixel camera ; Design will put off some ; No 3G ; No earphones supplied ; No standard headphone socket

Besides its admittedly striking look, there's nothing new here and no real improvement on the Motorola U9 (the MOTOJEWEL actually claims less battery life and smaller onboard memory). It's okay if you like the look, and don't get hung up on big spec...

Motorola MOTOROKR U9

ROK-on with Fergie

Thin and lightweight design, external display, touch-sensitive music controls, animated screensavers, A2DP Bluetooth

No 3.5mm headphone jack, no microSD card included, sluggish user interface

The MOTO U9 is a nicely designed handset, but given it's marketed as a music phone, the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack is an annoying omission.
