How cheap is too cheap? You’ll see

The Android phone sacrifices too much power in order to keep costs down.

The Android-based Nokia 3 is dirt-cheap, looks good and is comfortable to hold in one hand.

Its lack of power makes using the phone sluggish and frustrating.

The Nokia 3 sacrifices too much processing power to achieve its low price. You’re better off spending a bit more on the Motorola Moto G5.

Nokia 3 Review

Low price ; Very good build quality and likable design ; Clean Android interface ; Supports microSD memory expansion ; Decent photo quality

Video quality is trash ; Display looks bad: has a terrible blue tint ; Underpowered, stuttery performance ; Scant storage

Nokia 3, First Take: Affordable Android, but beware the trade-offs

Nokia has had its share of knockbacks in recent times, but the company has not given up on handsets. Its phone brand is now owned by HMD , a Finnish company, but you'd never know. Visit Nokia's website and its Phones, Health (courtesy of the Withings...

Nokia 3 review: the Redmi 4A should be your first choice

HMD brought Nokia-branded smartphones back to life in 2017, and it seems like the move has paid off already. Between the attractive price tags and stock ta

The Nokia 3 isn’t going to wow you in any particular area, but it does have pure Android and the promise of regular security updates. Me? I’d probably get the Redmi 4A instead, offering a 13MP main camera and double the storage (32GB). Or I’d save a...

Nokia 3 review: Can its attractive design distract you from its flaws?

HMD hasreleased several Nokia smartphones and the time has now come for us to present you with our assessment. Today, we give you our complete review of one of Nokia's recent devices: the Nokia 3. How does it measure up to the competition? What's it...

Excellent finish and design ; Dual SIM & microSD ; Android Stock & quick updates ; Competitive price

Disappointing battery life ; Very long charging times ; Poor photo quality ; Limited storage capacity

For a great price, you can get an attractive design and nice build. HMD has produced a smartphone that is pleasing to the eye and to the touch. It’s an entry-level smartphone so don’t expect miracles: the performance, camera and battery leave much to...

Nokia 3

Nokia 3 review: The cheapest Android toting Nokia smartphone is well built and offers a clean Android experience with the Pixel launcher and Google Assistant. But does it offer enough to compete with the Moto G Play, Moto E and more?

Great software ; Budget price ; Battery life will get you through the day

Terrible performance ; Bad display ; Unreliable camera

Nokia has worked closely with Google in the production of this range of Android phones, and that shows in the software. The downside to many budget phones is that they often ship with heavy software layers that work the already limited internals too...

Nokia 3 review: Three isn't the magic number

The Nokia 3 is a forgettable device and can only really be recommended for someone who is an infrequent smartphone user, with low expectations when it

Quality design and build

Poor display quality ; Laggy performance ; Poor battery life with no fast charging

The Nokia 3 feels like the wrong first step for a new Nokia. We accept that there's a great demand for phones that are affordable, but with the likes of Motorola offering some great devices around this price or a fraction higher, it's hard to see how...

Nokia 3 review

Stand-out styling, but sub-power power

Looks more than it costs ; Near-standard Android UI ; Decent price

Not enough power ; Below-average battery ; No fingerprint sensor

A decent first effort for the ‘new’ Nokia, but good looks and an unmolested version of Android don't make up for a lacklustre performance

Nokia 3 review

A budget smartphone with an eye-catching design

Solid build quality and premium design ; Remarkably Low price ; Stock Android software works great

Disappointing performance may become frustrating ; Limited storage if you want to download lots ; Middling battery life may be an issue

It may look like one of the best cheap phones on the market but the Nokia 3 is style over substance, struggling with long load times and poor battery life.

Nokia 3 review

Nokia is back with a new budget Android smartphone, the Nokia 3, which is finally on sale in the UK. Find out what we thought in our Nokia 3 review.

We had high hopes for the Nokia 3, but the final phone is a bit of a disappointment. We can't deny that it looks absolutely fantastic for the price, and we're fans of Nokia's decision to stick to stock Android, but it's just cut too many corners on the...
