Nokia 3530

The Nokia 3530’s relatively low price of S$448 (without line) makes it attractive to those who are looking for MMS, a color display and polyphonic ringtones on a budget. But the lack of a radio and other features found on higher-ranged mobile phones...

Snapshot: Nokia 3530

Around the same time the world was buzzing over the new Nokia 3650, Nokia's Asian division quietly introduced their own new color phone, the 3530. Subtle, it is not....

NOKIA 3530

YOU may be wondering about the headline ? no, no, this is not a jibe at Nokia for coming up with a product that is behind its time.

Nokia 3530: Innovative layout

Don't let the wacky button layout fool you - the Nokia 3530 is a pretty decent mid-range phone that follows Nokia's general tried-and-true style of design quite closely.

Nokia 3530

While the 3530 may seem to resemble, in many aspects, its 3510 predecessor, there are also those improvements that make this model a more acceptable choice of mobile phone in comparison.

OK

Overall I think that the Nokia 3530 was a pretty good phone in it's time. I liked that it could MMS and had the most long lasting batter life of any phone I have ever owned. I don't know that I would own this phone today however as there are much...

I like how durable and long lasting this phone model was. AT the time this phone was a pretty economical purchase and it was considered pretty cool and funky as it had the coloured screen

I personally do not like the physical appearance of this phone, however i know that others would disagree with me on that.

Excellent

The most attractive phone I have ever owned at that time and the color and the features was the main reason why I purchased it, and to top it off with excellent battery life when making calls. Very high quality phone that lasts and lasts!

I used to own this phone back in the old days. There were so many unique features to use compared to other brands that made it very attractive for me to buy. Back in the day the phone was at a great price for outright and the features and color screen...

None, no problems with it since I used it for two years

OK

Overall it wasn't a bad phone to use, but wouldn't use it again - besides it is an old model now anyway.

The Nokia 3530 was really just a spin off from the Nokia 3310/3315 but with an added colour screen and a weird keypad layout - I guess it was cool because it was one of the first colour screen Nokia's

Not original design, the keypad layout was poor and hard to navigate.

Bad

OK at the time I got it but I can't wait for my contract to expire so I can replace it!

Great battery life. Timed profiles (eg. turn to SILENT until 5:00pm - phone goes back to normal automatically). Clear(when used as a phone). Comes with Backgammon(basic level though). Durable.

Terrible colour. Difficult to see the letters on the keys for text messaging - especially at night. Bulky! Many java games don't work on it. Old technology.
