Nokia 6110 Navigator Review

Nokia 6110 Navigator was released right at the peak of the period when the leading handset producer considered GPS to be the feature with the highest potential for mixing with handsets. The company's interest faded in time, making it a good guess to...

It looks fresh, has a smooth, perfect slider and also packs HSDPA and GPS to open the door for a great number of possibilities to the user. Internet browsing feels natural and very close to what PCs have to offer, especially due to the fast data...

This is the right place for photo quality, as captures shot with Nokia 6110 Navigator are nothing more than ordinary and go down to terribly poor lighting conditions. Another drawback can be seen in the shiny plastic used in the handset's case, which...

Review: Nokia 6110 Navigator

We first spent time with Nokia's S60 powered 6110 Navigator at 3GSM earlier this year during a test drive around Barcelona. Now that it is available for purchase, Brad gives the GPS powered 6110 slider its own test drive in this hands-on review.

Data connectivity is well taken care of by the Nokia 6110. While the WiFi capabilities of the N95 are missing, 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth, and miniUSB provide enough options for most. I am happy to say that I cannot fault any of the methods, with web browsing...

Furthermore, the N95 sports a 5MP camera, which is considered as a top of the range feature right now whereas the 6110 only has a 2MP camera. All things considered, the key difference would be the WLAN feature. If you need to use that a lot, then it...

Expert Review

The 6110 Navigator is the first mobile phone to be released with full turn-by-turn GPS navigation out of the box, and despite some small issues, it's an excellent experience on the whole.

GPS function is excellent overall, HSDPA, Excellent speakers, 512MB microSD card included

Window mount not included, 2.5mm headphone jack, GPS is a little slow to find a signal, No Wi-Fi

Nokia 6110 Navigator

Nokia's 6110 Navigator is nothing more than a Symbian Series 60 slider handset. Or is it? As the name suggests, the phone is capable of a lot more than handling calls, messages and a little entertainment. Yes, the Navigator is capable of much more, and...

Landmarks and other points of interest are easy distinguishable with various icons, and you can also find places with a simple search option and even navigate from your current location to that point very easily. The main reason why the onboard...

Nokia 6110 Navigator mobile phone - Pocket-lint

Following the Nokia N95, the Nokia 6110 is the latest Nokia handset to go GPS-enabled, but will it help you find your way? We get on the road to find out.

GPS, HSDPA, 2 megapixel camera

Not much

With mobile phones having conquered the digital camera and music sectors the next big thing is GPS.

Nokia 6110 Navigator review

Like having a standalone GPS device in your pocket

Built-in GPS and UK mapping supplied ; Full 3G services with HSDPA ; Web browser

Camera quality is fairly standard ; Absence of Wi-Fi ; Headset needs upgrading

The camera is a bit of a disappointment but the ease with which the satnav and phone features co-exist makes the 6110 Navigator well worth recommending for the price
