Nokia 9300 Smart Phone

Nokia's 9300 suggests a microlaptop with a cell phone attached to the cover. This hybrid PDA/cell phone offers many of the features you'll need on the go, including office applications, a phone, e-mail and Internet access, and long battery life. Though...

Includes a mix of Office apps Impressive talk-time battery life

Lacks a camera Bulky device is uncomfortable to hold

Though you can view photos on this handheld, it lacks a camera. If you don't mind that omission, this PDA phone may work for you. Plus, the $299 price (as of April 7, 2006, with a two-year Cingular contract) isn't bad

Designed like a tiny laptop, the 9300 offers a decent keyboard and a mix of useful apps for working on the road.

Nokia 9300 (AT&T) review:

Nokia 9300 Palm gets a lot of press for its popular Treo , but Nokia knows a thing or two about smart phones too. Starting with the 9000i Communicator and following up with the Nokia 9290 , the Finnish company has produced some powerful Symbian-based...

The Nokia 9300 features a nice, wide color screen, a QWERTY keyboard, and a speakerphone. It also supports multiple e-mail accounts and Bluetooth.

Some downsides of the Nokia 9300 include its heft, its awkwardly placed expansion slot, its nontactile, nonbacklit keyboard, and its lack of Wi-Fi and a camera.

The Nokia 9300 includes handy features for corporate users, though some of them could use work.

Nokia 9300

This powerful mobile office device looks good and gets the job done, but it could use a bit of a speed boost and a major price cut.

Excellent screen. Best handheld Web browser. Good office suite.

Slow user interface. Expensive.

Nokia 9300 Smartphone Review

Outside of the US, the Nokia 9300 is old hat. About a year after its global release though, the 9300 will gain fresh legs in the US. It is expected to be released in September on a yet un-announced carrier. Nokia is going in their own direction with...

Review: Nokia 9300

Nokia's 9300 is the company's smallest Communicator yet. Compared to even the 9500, which is currently available, the 9300 is tiny. But even though it is quite small, it still has a spec sheet that will cause you to drool.

Compact size, huge display, EDGE data, lots of power

Poor keyboard, no keyboard backlight, finicky thumb-stick

Preview: Nokia 9300 - The Smallest Communicator Yet

The U.S. version of this tri-mode phone will be GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900 MHz), but we tested the GSM/GPRS (850/1800/1900 MHz) United Kingdom version. Nokia hasn't announced what carriers will sell the phone, however. When it does ship, the device will...

While it won't win any beauty contests, the 9300 is a decent choice for executives who value communication tools over eye-candy. If you prefer the Symbian OS and never want to use a stylus again, take a look
