Nokia Asha 300 Review

Nokia launched their Asha range of feature phones, back in December 2011 and today we have with us, the Asha 300, the candy-bar feature phone, which was touted as one of the first phones to have Angry Birds pre-installed. Let's find out if this Series...

The Asha 300 is put together very well and we applaud Nokia for their craftsmanship. 3G support is also a bonus, but besides that there really isn’t anything going for this phone that would make you shell out seven large ones. Like we said, if it drops...

Nokia Asha 300 review: King of ordinary

The Nokia Asha 300 may not exactly fit in with today's standards of newsworthy. With smartphones flexing their muscles at venues like CES, sporting ever-expanding app markets, HD screens and multi-core processors, it's hard to see how an entry-level...

Nokia Asha 300 Review

A phone that gives you access to basic mail on the go, a bit of web browsing and social networking, the Nokia Asha 300 at Rs. 7,409 offers some nice features such as 3G connectivity, a 1GHz processor and a strong build. The biggest downer however is...

1GHz processor, Good looks and build quality, 3G connectivity, Good battery life

No Wi-Fi, No multitasking, Resistive touchscreen

Nokia Asha 300 hands-on

The Nokia Asha 300 is shaping up to be a solid bet if you want a simple, small and cheap phone. The 5-megapixel camera and fast processor are plus points, but a resistive touchscreen could make this mobile fiddly to use.

Fast processor ; 5-megapixel camera ; Small and light

Resistive touchscreen could prove fiddly ; Android is better for apps and games

Nokia continues to disappoint

I've been using this phone sporadically for the past 6 months. It was given to me by a friend and my initial intention was to replace my aging Samsung E250 with it, but I was not happy with it so I've been using it as a back up only when traveling or...

Tough to say who it is for. The die-hard Nokia fan, if there are any left.

Works worldwide

This phone has frequencies to cover most places in the world. It astonishes me that this is not a major talking point. I also had the very annoying problem where the phone randomly starts up "Angry Birds".

Thankfully a phone with cable connectivity.

Bought this phone (18-months ago) because I wanted cable connection via USB port to minimize radiation health concerns rather than using Bluetooth. For the price the phone has excellent display/layout, camera and all the features I'd ever need....

Light and sleek, all the features I'd ever need.

Battery needs regular recharge despite light usage.

Good cheap phone

I wanted a phone that worked as a phone but didn't want be caught with Korean (LG) [censored word removed] again. I knew it could connect to the internet and in an emergency tried to use it for a phone check-in on a Jetstar flight, but It wouldnt load...

Simple to use and can use a pen/pencil instead of thick fingures.

No navigation keys for those with thick fingers until I found out that pens work.

Very handy little phone, but it has its problems!

I absolutely love this phone. Its light and slim, easily fitting into any pocket or purse. It has a good loud ringtones and handsfree. I really wanted a phone with both a touchscreen and keys, without the bulk and fancy bells and whistles - I need...

Cheap, has both touch screen and keypad, compact, looks nice.

Keys chip easily, many bugs, slow to start up.
