Review Nokia Lumia 620 Smartphone

Here come the budget Windows Phone 8 smartphones. The Lumia serie

Low price; Great 3.8 inch display; NFC and Dual-Band WLAN; Simple Windows Phone 8 interface; Storage can be increasing using a SD card; Swappable battery; Good battery life; Nice camera; 24 months warranty

Low screen resolution; Weak webcam with only 0.3 MP; Average performance; Around 5 GB net storage space

Other Windows Phone 8 smartphones: Nokia Lumia 820, Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Windows Phone 8 and the Samsung ATIV S.

Nokia Lumia 620 Review

The Lumia 620 could easily be regarded as one of the cutest smartphones on the shelf. It's small, colourful, lightweight and looks a little bit like a little toy. It's got a lot going for it, including a very reasonable price, Rs 14,600. But...

The 620 also proved to be a well-equipped media device. Thanks to Dolby’s Headphone Sound Enhancement technology, the handset provided well-balanced tones with a resounding bass line and slightly sharp but well-managed higher tones. There’s no EQ,...

Nokia Lumia 620 Review

Here's a spoiler: Nokia's Lumia 620 is arguably the most balanced device in the company's current line-up, and it makes a case for being the best mainstream smartphone on the market today. Excessive praise for a cheap Windows Phone? Perhaps, but when...

The Lumia 620 does its job, for the right price, with minimal compromise. There are no obvious omissions, like the missing front camera of its predecessor, and services like Nokia Music and Cinemagram give it a degree of out-of-the-box completeness...

Nokia Lumia 620 review: Auxiliary troops

At this point it should be clear that the future of Nokia rides on the success of the Windows Phone 8 platform. The Fins need the second major WP release to work as the Lumia lineup is Nokia's only shot at staying afloat in the long run. Samsung and...

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Quad-band 3G with 21 Mbps HSDPA and 5.7 Mbps HSUPA support ; 3.8" 16M-color ClearBlack LCD display with WVGA resolution ; 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 720p@30fps video recording ; VGA front-facing...

WP app catalog falls short of Android and iOS ; No system-wide file manager ; No lockscreen shortcuts ; Removing the back panel is testing

The Lumia 620 is finds itself in a pretty comfortable position right now. It's far from the hunting grounds of the WP8 powerhouses and yet it provides solid smartphone experience, a very decent screen and a design, which while not as sophisticated as...

Nokia Lumia 620

This review originally posted at 1/08/2013, and was updated 09/12/2013 with performance specs for the Aio Wireless model.

The Nokia Lumia 620 has a glare-cutting screen, a decent 5-megapixel camera, NFC, and an affordable price tag.

The Lumia 620 loses points for poor call quality, a short screen time-out, a small battery, and numerous design issues -- including a hard-to-find SIM card slot.

Nokia's Lumia 620 smartphone successfully delivers a complete Windows Phone 8 experience for a low price, but buyer beware of some compromises in battery, sound, and design.

Nokia Lumia 620 review: precisely what an entry-level smartphone should be

More Info Nokia announces the Lumia 620 Nokia Lumia 920 review Windows Phone 8 review The Lumia 620 is Nokia's most affordable Windows

Attractively priced ; Good battery life ; Performance matches higher-end devices

Middling camera performance ; Windows Phone 8 lacks app selection of entry-level Android phones

The Lumia 620 is a budget phone offering good performance and an attractive design. It sets a new benchmark for low-price smartphones.

Nokia Lumia 620 Review

The Lumia 620 is a Windows Phone 8 smartphone for the masses, yet offering additional value in many aspects and different by design. This time again, Nokia is focusing on vibrant colors…

Great vivid screen ; Solid smooth performance ; Excellent Nokia apps, built-in Office

A bit chubby ; Battery life could be better

The Lumia 620 is a great effort by Nokia all around. It has a standout design that will appeal to many, especially the young, a good (but not perfect) camera for its class supporting 720p HD video capture, and runs on the now more mature Windows Phone 8.

Nokia Lumia 620 Smartphone Review

Looking to bring the Windows Phone 8 experience to a lower price point than the Lumia 920 is Nokias new Lumia 620. With interchangeable covers, HD camera and expandable storage it may just fit the bill as a great midrange handset.

An impressive midrange handset from Nokia. Compact and light with a decent camera and expandable storage it offers a very similar user experience to more expensive Windows Phone 8 handsets.

Nokia Lumia 620 Review

Nokia's always had great budget phones compared to what a lot of other manufacturers manage to pump out. The Asha series is arguably the only...

The Lumia 620 is honestly a fantastic piece of machinery from Nokia considering the price. It boasts a great design, vibrant colors that really make it stand out, a decent camera, and Windows Phone 8 is generally enjoyable and runs quicker than any...
