Nokia Lumia 810 review: Back in black

With the Nokia Lumia 820 locked up under AT&T exclusivity, the Finnish manufacturer had to resort to rebranding tactics in order to bring its capable mid-range Windows Phone 8 product to other carriers. Such is the case with the Nokia Lumia 810 for...

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Quad-band 3G with 42 Mbps HSDPA and 5.7 Mbps HSUPA support ; 4.3" 16M-color ClearBlack AMOLED display with WVGA resolution ; 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 1080p@30fps video recording ; 720p front-facing...

App catalog falls short of Android and iOS ; No system-wide file manager ; No lockscreen shortcuts ; Some might argue that design is a bit dull ; Price on a contract is a bit high

In their effort to find a way around the AT&T exclusivity on the Nokia Lumia 820, the company's engineers have ended up with an arguably better device in the face of the Lumia 810. The T-Mobile exclusive smartphone benefits greatly from the larger...

Nokia Lumia 810 for T-Mobile review

After a long wait, the next crop of Windows Phone handsets are beginning to trickle in, and just in time for the holidays. If you're familiar with our

Snappy performance ; Exclusive Nokia apps ; Impressive camera ; Excellent call quality

High price and poor value ; Text within the browser appears jagged

The Lumia 810 is a well-rounded smartphone, but it can't compete with the more aggressively-priced Lumia 920.

Nokia Lumia 810 review

T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 810, isn't an immediate knockout. Its thick, heavy, slablike form is hard to love. But since beauty is only skin-deep, T-Mobile customers will find hearty hardware and software features within.

Nokia's Lumia 810 has decent call quality and a nice helping of extra software that differentiates it from other Windows phones. It's also one of the first Windows phones with external storage.

This bulky smartphone has an uninspiring build and is more expensive than AT&T's higher-end Lumia 920.

The Nokia Lumia 810 makes for a practical smartphone choice, but if you're looking for something thin and light, the HTC Windows Phone 8X is one better option.

Nokia Lumia 810 (T-Mobile)

The Nokia Lumia 810 delivers a solid, affordable Windows Phone 8 experience, but its blocky design and low-res screen don't do it any favors.

Windows Phone 8 OS is more refined than ever. Fast. Excellent camera. Great voice quality.

Heavy. Low-res screen. Few compelling apps. Uninspired design.

Nokia Lumia 810 Review

With the Nokia Lumia 810 comes T-Mobile's chance to jump aboard the Windows Phone 8 / Nokia train to victory with a slightly powered-down version of the hero Lumia line introduced earlier this year. We've got our review of the Nokia Lumia 920, a beast...

In the end, Nokia has created another real winner for the Windows Phone 8 universe as a whole. The Nokia Lumia 920 may be just that little bit better with a slightly larger display and loud body, but the 810 takes care of the user who doesn’t want to...

Nokia Lumia 810 Review

Seeing that Microsoft's mobile platform has been updated to Windows Phone 8, it's only fitting to see T-Mobile receive one of its first devices sporting the new platform in the form of the Nokia Lumia 810. Although it might be overshadowed by its...

Snappy performance ; Good low lighting camera performance ; Same WP8 experience as the Lumia 920

Ugly and boring design ; Speaker quality is sharp & irritating

On the surface, there’s nothing cool or hip looking with the Nokia Lumia 810, which is a shame considering it’s a Lumia device, but yet, it’s lacking any of the distinct design cues to make it a part of the family. However, once you’re able to overlook...

Nokia Lumia 810 for T-Mobile [Review]

Windows Phone OS has gone through a lot of changes over the years where it was more PC based over the years up until Windows Mobile 6.5. I was a heavy user of it with phones such as the HTC 8525 and HTC Wing devices. The average user didn't seem to be...

Nokia Lumia 810

The Nokia Lumia 810 on T-Mobile may be less flashy and good looking than the HTC 8X , but it carries some serious appeal beyond its lower price tag. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone launched at $150 with contract, but is already down to $99 on the...

Fast, affordable, great camera, has microSD card slot

Bland design, relatively low resolution display- though it's a nice looking screen

Nokia Lumia 810 Review: Being Held Back

The Nokia Lumia 810 is an excellent piece of mid-tier hardware that would be a must-buy for new users, if not for one major drawback.

Mostly attractive design ; Performance is outstanding for mid-tier phone ; Low-res display still manages to look great

T-Mobile performance is dreadful ; Weak camera ; Dimensions are just slightly too big

The Nokia Lumia 810 is a fantastic mid-tier phone that is unfortunately dragged down by the performance of its carrier. While it’s true that the same hardware is available on different networks (the Lumia 822 on Verizon and the Lumia 820 on AT&T), the...
