Nokia Lumia 810 review: Back in black

With the Nokia Lumia 820 locked up under AT&T exclusivity, the Finnish manufacturer had to resort to rebranding tactics in order to bring its capable mid-range Windows Phone 8 product to other carriers. Such is the case with the Nokia Lumia 810 for...

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Quad-band 3G with 42 Mbps HSDPA and 5.7 Mbps HSUPA support ; 4.3" 16M-color ClearBlack AMOLED display with WVGA resolution ; 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 1080p@30fps video recording ; 720p front-facing...

App catalog falls short of Android and iOS ; No system-wide file manager ; No lockscreen shortcuts ; Some might argue that design is a bit dull ; Price on a contract is a bit high

In their effort to find a way around the AT&T exclusivity on the Nokia Lumia 820, the company's engineers have ended up with an arguably better device in the face of the Lumia 810. The T-Mobile exclusive smartphone benefits greatly from the larger...

Nokia Lumia 810 for T-Mobile review

After a long wait, the next crop of Windows Phone handsets are beginning to trickle in, and just in time for the holidays. If you're familiar with our

Snappy performance ; Exclusive Nokia apps ; Impressive camera ; Excellent call quality

High price and poor value ; Text within the browser appears jagged

The Lumia 810 is a well-rounded smartphone, but it can't compete with the more aggressively-priced Lumia 920.

Nokia Lumia 810

Nokia is banking on Windows Phone 8 to make the company relevant to U.S. customers again. Its full line of WP8 devices feature distinct and colorful designs coupled with shockingly low prices … except for the Lumia 810. The 800 series Nokia models are...

Beautiful display ; Speedy performance ; Good call quality ; Hardware shutter button

Bulky, inelegant design ; More expensive than other comparable Windows Phone 8 devices ; Low resolution display ; Uninspiring camera

Despite the less than elegant design, the Nokia Lumia 810 is a good Windows Phone 8 device that offers speedy performance, a nice display, and a decent camera. However, if you’re not a T-Mobile customer, this is not a device that entice you to switch....

Nokia Lumia 810 (T-Mobile)

T-Mobile's Nokia Lumia 810, isn't an immediate knockout. Its thick, heavy, slablike form is hard to love. But since beauty is only skin-deep, T-Mobile customers will find hearty hardware and software features within.

Nokia's Lumia 810 has decent call quality and a nice helping of extra software that differentiates it from other Windows phones. It's also one of the first Windows phones with external storage.

This bulky smartphone has an uninspiring build and is more expensive than AT&T's higher-end Lumia 920.

The Nokia Lumia 810 makes for a practical smartphone choice, but if you're looking for something thin and light, the HTC Windows Phone 8X is one better option.

Nokia Lumia 810 (T-Mobile)

The Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia 810 ($99.99 direct) on T-Mobile bucks the gargantuan phone trend with its relatively normal-size 4.3-inch display. But oddly, the phone itself is still too big, thanks to its uninspired design. The Lumia 810 has a...

Windows Phone 8 OS is more refined than ever. Fast. Excellent camera. Great voice quality

Heavy. Low-res screen. Few compelling apps. Uninspired design

The Nokia Lumia 810 delivers a solid, affordable Windows Phone 8 experience, but its blocky design and low-res screen don't do it any favors.

Nokia Lumia 810 (T-Mobile)

The Lumia 810 is a well-built and speedy Windows Phone 8 device with handy Nokia-exclusive features, but its bulky design and low-res display are turnoffs.

Solid build quality; Fast performance; Nokia Music and Nokia Drive add value; Fun photo apps; Wireless charging sleeves available

Bland design; Low-resolution display; Relatively short battery life; Mediocre camera

Click to EnlargeThe $149 Nokia Lumia 810 gives T-Mobile customers clamoring for a Windows Phone some appetizing features, such as an AMOLED screen that's great for enjoying photos and videos, a sturdy build and Nokia-exclusive features such as Nokia...

Nokia Lumia 810 Review

With the Nokia Lumia 810 comes T-Mobile's chance to jump aboard the Windows Phone 8 / Nokia train to victory with a slightly powered-down version of the hero Lumia line introduced earlier this year. We've got our review of the Nokia Lumia 920, a beast...

You’ll want to consider this device if you’re definitely working with T-Mobile in the near future and will be living in the Windows Phone 8 universe. It’s not going to be winning any popularity contests against the Samsung Galaxy S III or an unlocked...

Nokia Lumia 810 Review

Seeing that Microsoft's mobile platform has been updated to Windows Phone 8, it's only fitting to see T-Mobile receive one of its first devices sporting the new platform in the form of the Nokia Lumia 810. Although it might be overshadowed by its...

Snappy performance ; Good low lighting camera performance ; Same WP8 experience as the Lumia 920

Ugly and boring design ; Speaker quality is sharp & irritating

On the surface, there’s nothing cool or hip looking with the Nokia Lumia 810, which is a shame considering it’s a Lumia device, but yet, it’s lacking any of the distinct design cues to make it a part of the family. However, once you’re able to overlook...

Review: Nokia Lumia 810 for T-Mobile USA

The Lumia 810 is a solid mid-range Windows Phone for T-Mobile USA. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in functionality and performance.

The Nokia Lumia 810 for T-Mobile is a solid choice for a mid-range smartphone. It may not have a high-definition screen, nor the very fastest mobile processor, but it makes good use of the tools it does include. The hardware might be a wee bit on the...

Nokia Lumia 810

The Nokia Lumia 810 provides a strong suite of midrange features that are about right for a Windows Mobile device. It is equipped with entirely adequate hardware, including: 1GB of RAM, a 1.5GHz processor, 8GB of storage and an expandable storage slot....

The Nokia Lumia 810 has a decently strong battery and a good camera

The camera has no stabilization
