Nokia Lumia 900 Review

By Introducing the Lumia 900, Nokia is effectively bringing a larger, 4G LTE, version of their Lumia 800 to the market. It has just about all the qualities of its predecessor, but the larger size changes the user experience slightly, [...]

The Nokia Lumia 900 is a beautiful 4G LTE Windows Phone. It has a great design, great ergonomics and thanks to its polycarbonate build, it is remarkably solid. If you have not used the Windows Phone operating system, I would encourage you to check it...

Nokia Lumia 900 review: Europass

It took the Nokia Lumia 900 just a few days to top the US sales charts and see delighted handshakes quickly turn into group hugs, as Nokia, Microsoft and AT&T, which carries it exclusively stateside, were busy celebrating the flagship's performance in...

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Quad-band 3G with 42 Mbps HSDPA and 5.7 Mbps HSUPA support ; 4.3" 16M-color AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 480 x 800 pixel resolution ; Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display with anti-glare polarizer ; 8 megapixel...

Won't get WP 8 ; No USB mass storage (Zune only file management and sync) ; No native video calls ; Non-user-replaceable battery ; No memory card slot (and no 64GB version like the N9) ; microSIM card slot ; No native DivX/XviD support, videos have to...

Launching a flagship months before a major overhaul of the platform isn't exactly a planning masterstroke. The Nokia Lumia 900 will not get Windows Phone 8 and the news breaking just about when the phone hit the stores is more than just an unfortunate...

Nokia Lumia 900 vs HTC Titan II: Head to head

The two LTE smartphones, which we have on our hands today, couldn't be more different as far as the manufacturer goals and ambitions are concerned. The Nokia Lumia 900 for instance, carries the burden of turning the fortunes for the Finnish giant. The...

Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T review: Going all in

Armed with a multimillion dollar marketing budget and even more ambition, the LTE packing Nokia Lumia 900 has hit the shelves in the United States. The smartphone is aiming for a piece of the high-end smartphone cake, currently enjoyed by Apple's...

Nokia Lumia 900 is arguably the best Windows Phone handset out there. It is great looking and well put together. It even manages to add a couple of exclusive software touches to an otherwise generic experience with Microsoft's mobile OS. Internals are...

Nokia Lumia 900 AT&T review: Nokia Lumia 900 AT&T

Nokia sorely needs a "hero" smartphone with the looks, the speeds, the specs, and a price that will hush the doubters. With the Lumia 900, Nokia proves that it has the chops to compete. We thought so at CES , where we awarded it best new smartphone,...

The Nokia Lumia 900's eye-popping unibody design sets a new direction for smartphone style. Its LTE speeds, vivid 4.3-inch screen, and 8-megapixel camera are high points.

Problems with call quality and minor design flaws like some gaps in the construction and weirdly placed buttons get in the way. The designer camera optics are good, but they don't live up to the hype. The phone shoots 720p video rather than 1080p video.

The Nokia Lumia 900's unique design and high-end features make Windows Phone look fantastic, and the $99 price is extremely fair. Despite some flaws, this is my favorite Windows Phone yet.

Review: Nokia Lumia 900

The Lumia 900 is without a doubt a good phone, and probably the best Windows Phone handset out there right now. What is in doubt...

Highly optimized Windows Phone experience makes the most of the phone’s relatively modest specs. Fun hardware design and bright colors turn heads. Great battery life: On automatic screen brightness, I got two full days with average use. Under more...

Low resolution is a shame for such an otherwise great display. Tiny gap between the display and the polycarbonate body of the handset easily collects crap like food particles and skin cells. The circular shape of the charger plug is a power-strip hog....

Lumia 900 review

It occurred to me that the Lumia 900 review would be one of the more important critiques of a product that I write this year. For those of you who don't know the backstory here, the new...

Incredible hardware design ; OS is snappy and responsive ; LTE data is speedy ; Great entry price

Windows Phone still has lots of issues ; Third-party app offerings are weak ; Specs feel last generation ; Camera underwhelming

I really wanted to love this phone, but while the hardware delivers, the device as a whole does not

Solid camera ; Fluid user experience ; Blazing LTE speeds ; Useful Internet Sharing feature ; Screen is easily readable outdoors

Nokia's Lumia 900 is a steal for consumers looking for dependable performance, ease of use, LTE connectivity, an attractive design and reasonable price.

Nokia Lumia 900 (AT&T)

The Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T is a powerful, easy-to-use Windows Phone. It's great, as long as you don't need Words With Friends or some other apps you might find on an iPhone or an Android phone.

Attractive design. Strong reception. Very fast LTE speeds. Fun, easy to use OS.

Lacks some popular apps from other platforms. Camera isn't the greatest.

Nokia Lumia 900 Review: Best Windows Phone So Far

When I first saw the Nokia Lumia 900 ($100 with a two-year AT&T contract, price as of April 3, 2012) at CES 2012, I proclaimed that it was the Windows Phone I'd been waiting for: Offering a premium design, a high-end camera, a gorgeous display, and LTE...

Gorgeous AMOLED display ; Great, versatile camera ; Fast data speeds over LTE

Windows Phone still missing some apps and features ; No 1080p video capture

With a stunning display, fast data speeds, and a versatile camera, the Lumia 900 has what it takes to compete with the iPhone and with Android handsets--if Microsoft and AT&T can win over customers.
