Review Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone

Last chance. Nokia is one of Microsoft's most important partners for launching the Windows 8 Phone. The Lumia 920 stands out from the contenders with a unique design, good camera and additional apps. The Finnish company demands 649 Euros (~$860 RRP)...

Well processed casing, High-res 4.5 inch screen, Simple use of Windows Phone 8, LTE & NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi, Fast, ARM-based hardware, High-end camera with optical image stabilizer, 24 month warranty, IPS-HD screen with solid rates, Good battery...

Comparatively bulky and heavy, Limited connectivity, No card reader & non-removable battery, Cheap headset in scope of delivery, Screen could be brighter, Temperature development during load, A more extensive app offers in Microsoft's store, lower...

The Nokia Lumia 920 build quality is great and features an elegant and minimalist design, with the most subtle branding to be found in the smartphone market.

Nokia Lumia 920 review: The Luminary

Light at the end of the tunnel or the tunnel of light at the end. Nokia is near the point where it couldn't care less - as long as the dark days are finally over for a company, which used to drive an entire industry forward.

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Quad-band 3G with 42 Mbps HSDPA and 5.7 Mbps HSUPA support ; 4.5" 16M-color PureMotionHD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels ; 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 1080p@30fps video recording ;...

App catalog falls short of Android and iOS ; No microSD card ; No system-wide file manager ; No lockscreen shortcuts ; Size and weight something to definitely consider before you buy ; Audio output not worthy of a flagship ; Non user-replaceable battery

The Nokia Lumia 920 is certainly the best Windows Phone 8 smartphone on the market right now. There, that's one base covered. The Ativ S with its larger screen and more reasonable weight might have a thing or two to say about it, but the Lumia 920 is...

Nokia Lumia 920 for AT&T

We've already heard about Windows RT's "modest" beginning, and now there's talk full-blown Windows 8 ain't flying off the shelves either. According to MS aficionado Paul Thurrott and one of his "most trusted sources," uptake of the new OS isn't hitting...

Nokia Lumia 920 for AT&T: what's different?

A few days ago we reviewed the global version of Nokia's Lumia 920 flagship running Windows Phone 8. The handset's been available for purchase on

Rich display ; Best-in-class stills and video performance ; Incredible value at $100

Some softness in photos ; Device feels unwieldy ; App selection still lacking

It's Nokia's greatest Windows Phone yet, remixed for AT&T. The Lumia 920 packs a superb screen with great visibility and sensitivity, but the camera gives a mixed performance.

Nokia Lumia 920 (AT&T)

One of the first handsets shipping with Windows Phone 8, the big, beautiful Nokia Lumia 920 is the most powerful, versatile option available. But the phone itself is overgrown, and the platform has some growing to do.

Beautiful screen. Exclusive apps including free driving and transit directions. Excellent video recorder.

Huge and heavy. Windows Phone has fewer and different apps from more popular platforms.

Review: Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia has delivered a heavyweight player (pun intended) to take on the other smartphones, Windows Phone or otherwise.

Sleek, tasteful design with a curved glass screen. Stunning camera. Bright display with excellent color and sharpness. Nokia-built software like Nokia Maps and Nokia Music are actually very useful, well-made and great to have built into the phone

It’s big — time to reconsider the aversion to salads? Windows Phone still low on apps compared to iOS and Android. Camera’s preview mode is weird, so images may turn out different than expected

AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 Review

With the Nokia Lumia 920 we've been promised a hero device for Windows Phone 8 , and indeed it has been defended several time before its release by Nokia and Microsoft - in so many words. But is Nokia's Nokia's brand power enough to make us believe the...

The Nokia Lumia 920 is clearly the most unique Windows Phone 8 experience on the market today. Though the selection of Windows Phone 8 devices out in stores right this minute is extremely limited (the Lumia 920 itself isn’t in stores at the time this...

Nokia Lumia 920 review

The Nokia Lumia 920 is the company's third attempt at launching the definitive Windows Phone. In April, Nokia and Microsoft tried to convince the world that the Lumia 900 and Windows Phone 7.5 was...

PureView camera takes incredible low-light shots ; Large, responsive screen ; Nokia software enhancements

Very heavy and bulky ; App ecosystem remains deficient ; Some issues with LTE reception

The software and hardware tradeoffs inherent in the Lumia 920 could be worth it if you’ve bought into the Microsoft ecosystem
