Firm,stylish,never-fail phone

I've got this phone like 5 months ago since it is out,no problem at all. Really improve UI that I've even dumped my HTC desire HD for it :). The UI is so fluid, swappable with N-desk,SPB Shell(3D-powered), strong signal, the most powerful on camrea yet(there are 1080p HD recorder phone out there, but they have no filter,no large sensor,no Carl Zeiss Optics/Xenon flash), the build body is flawless with anodized aluminium and gorilla glass, ovi store is expanding with games+apps porting from Android and iOS, ovi maps is the best with A-GPS+80 over countries with trip adviser,hungry-go-where integrated services which are really groovy. It has brand-new features like FM transmitter,usb-on-the-go,HDMI port etc. Overall it is a cool phone with build body

Stable, Easy to use, Easy buttons and controls, Neat features, Strong signal

Superb in hardware and software wise phone

This is a superb phone which has an improved OS (Sumbian 3) which is completely different from s60v5 and s60v3. It can respond v.fast and I also like the ovi maps which has pinch-in-zoom,night mode, exact navigation, own voice-guided, and over 70 counties+ available from there both by online or offline. Another thing is its durablitly which is anodized aluminium and gorilla glass with AMOLED display shines d phone out from any competitors like iphone(glass), and android( some metallic and plastic). Its battery is quite durable. As the symbian is a light-weight OS,it doesn't need a big processor and RAM to run the OS smoothly. Moreover,it can save battery life span. Many kool games and entertaining apps are additional features to this smart N8.

Stable, Easy to use, Easy buttons and controls, Neat features, Strong signal

Nokia N8, Does it Live Up to the Expectations?

Nokia's N-Series is back with a bang. The N8 is finally here and comes with a promise of revitalizing Nokia's high-end segment with its funky new age look, updated OS and whatever else comes with that. But the Twenty Six Thousand Rupee question is,...

With a price tag of just Rs. 26,259 (MOP), the N8 is a great choice if your looking for a well rounded multimedia device with a kick-ass camera. It does have its quirks with a few small but significant options have been left out, no doubt, but on the...

Nokia N8 Review: Nokia's New Flagship

I remember one of the first mobile phones I ever used being a Nokia 5110i. It was among Nokia's earliest of devices that packed an easy to use and straightforward interface in a supremely well-built package. Since we didn't have as many phone launches...

Nokia N8

The N8 is Nokia's big stab at fighting the iPhone and Android onslaught in premium markets like Europe and the United States, much as the BlackBerry Torch is to RIM. On paper it looks like it has a fighting chance: The N8 has a high-quality 3.5-inch...

Vivid 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen ; 720p video capture with HDMI output ; 12-megapixel camera is fantastic ; 16GB internal memory

500 price tag ; No battery access ; Slow processor lags sometimes ; Symbian v3 OS can't compete with Android or iOS ; Poor built-in Web browser ; No vertical QWERTY keyboard

Even a hotshot camera can’t save Nokia’s N8 from a warmed-over OS, uncharacteristically cheap build quality and slow processor.

Nokia N8 review

The first time Nokia's N8-00 popped up on our radar was way back in early February of this year. On that chilly, misty morning, we learned of a mythical being capable of shooting 12 megapixel stills, recording 720p video, outputting via HDMI, and --...

Unparalleled camera performance ; Aluminum shell combines beauty and brawn ; Gorilla Glass-protected AMOLED display

Symbian user experience lags competition ; Still too many system nags and prompts ; No QWERTY keyboard in portrait mode

Nokia N8 Review

It feels like we've been talking about the Nokia N8 for a long time. February 2010 saw the first murmurings, followed by a string of leaks, rumors, semi-accurate previews and finally, around seven months later, a commercial release. In the meantime...

That shortfall will be the N8′s biggest hurdle, not functionality, and Nokia’s challenge is to better educate would-be users to the strengths of the handset: the superlative connectivity, the excellent camera and the offline flexibility of Ovi Maps....

Nokia N8 (orange, unlocked)

Though Symbian enjoys great popularity in other parts of the world, it's not well known in the States and is falling behind the competition in usability and functionality. The Symbian 3 operating system is a stepping stone in addressing those issues,...

The Nokia N8 and Symbian 3 offer a better and more enhanced user experience than previous devices. The N8 delivers excellent camera and video quality. The smartphone has solid hardware and offers 3G support for both T-Mobile and AT&T. You get free...

It's expensive. User interface is much improved, but still trails the competition in ease of use. The N8 can be sluggish. You only get a QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode, and there's no user-replaceable battery

The Nokia N8 excels as a camera phone, and the improvements of Symbian 3 make it one of the company's best smartphones to date. However, it still has its shortcomings and an expensive price tag, making it a hard sell for the North American market.

Nokia's N8 Less Touchdown, More Hail Mary

Nokia's newest phone comes with insane entertainment chops and a Symbian OS that resembles Android. Too bad it comes up short in far too many areas.

Anodized aluminum body easily makes this one of Nokia’s sleekest designs. Ships with multimedia cables. Does a fantastic job at multimedia playback. Video chat-ready with a front-facing VGA camera. Mini-HDMI port pumps out video and Dolby Digital...

Competitive with the Pros (iPhone, Android, Windows 7), but clearly won’t convert the entrenched. Non-removable battery = two steps back. Symbian^3 OS’s lack of polish puts a hurt on quick navigation. Dual card bay (one for memory, one for sim) is a...

Nokia N8

This smart phone's 12-MP camera is top-of-the-line, but its sluggish, unfriendly software make for an uneven experience.

The Nokia N8 has an excellent design and one of the best cameras we've seen in a smartphone; too bad it's coupled with lame software, a tiny screen, and a slow processor. If Nokia had completely reworked the Symbian OS with a real makeover instead of...

Nokia N8

When I first got my hands on the Nokia N8 ($550 unlocked; price as of 10/3/2010) back in June, I was impressed with its hardware and multimedia features, but had the feeling that the software was stale and outdated. After spending more time with the...

HD video support ; Superb 12-megapixel camera

Software feels dated ; Keyboard difficult to use

The Nokia N8 has some cutting-edge multimedia features, including a 12-megapixel camera and HDMI output, but the operating system feels stale and dated.

Nokia N8 preview: First look

We were almost starting to suspect mobile phones of giving up and playing soft. They seemed unstoppable you know. They went from 5 to 12 in no time and there was nothing to suggest that digicams will ever get a timeout for a much needed breather...

Nokia's free fall over the past three years certainly took them a long way from the top. They still aren't prepared to battle it out at the highest level so they need to buy some time until they get up to speed. And the Nokia N8 seems a damn good shot...
