Nokia N95 8GB

The new N95 offers everything its predecessor did, plus more storage space and some other add-ons.

The 8GB offers the same functionalities as the N95, and then some. While the old phone was equipped with Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE too, the 8GB's GPRS transfer rates are a bit faster. It makes use of Class 32, 107 / 64.2 Kbps. It's equipped with Bluetooth...

Nokia N95

Provincialism has taken a back seat in the phone industry these days and Nokia is in the drivers' seat. They're on a real roll here with newer and better phones being released almost on a weekly basis. And now this, the N95. This behemoth of a phone is...

This phone is targeted at a globetrotter or a business traveler. Some one who can do justice to the plethora of software the N95 is loaded with viz. GPS or Wi-fi with HSDPA and Push email, the 5 megapixel camera, the office software etc. Weighing 120...

Nokia N95 (8GB, Unlocked)

Editor's note: Portions of Features section of this review were taken from our original evaluation of the unlocked Nokia N95 North American Edition, as both devices share many of the same features.

The Nokia N95 (8GB) features 8GB of internal memory and has a spacious 2.8-inch display and 3G support. The smartphone also includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 5-megapixel camera, and robust multimedia capabilities.

The 8GB N95 can be sluggish at times, and call quality could have been better. There's no expansion slot, and it's also very expensive.

Offering ample memory, a larger screen, and 3G support, the 8GB Nokia N95 is sure to please those looking for the ultimate in multimedia/cell phone convergence, but you'll pay for the features, and there are some performance issues.

Nokia N95

We got our hands on an unlocked Nokia N95, and we're impressed with many things about it. This Symbian-based multimedia phone lacks a touchscreen or QWERTY keyboard, focusing more on music, video, and photos. It's also a wireless Swiss Army knife, with...

3.5mm headphone jack; built-in WiFi ; GPS and Bluetooth; excellent camera; blogging tools

Lacks a touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard; slider opens too easily; bad battery life

the N95 is well-suited to multimedia lovers who don't want to lug a laptop around.

Nokia N95 8GB review: Return of the king

About a year ago Nokia released a tech-freak's dream of a handset offering a mouthwatering horde of features in a fairly compact size. The omnipresent N95 spawned a successor and now the question is how much better can it get. Nokia N95 8GB sure has...

2.8" 16M color QVGA display ; 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and Carl Zeiss optics ; Massive storage capacity and increased RAM ; Wi-Fi with UPnP technology ; Built-in GPS receiver and A-GPS functionality ; Nokia maps application covering over 100...

No camera lens protector ; No RDS system for the FM radio ; Below average GPS performance, no 3rd party apps support ; Extra charges for voice assisted navigation ; Cannot edit office documents ; No card slot ; Doesn't charge when connected to USB

Only recently did we notice the N95-1 label on our original Nokia N95 box. It seems that Nokia have had plans for expanding the N95 family even in those early days. Now in order to clear up terms here, we are just making a remark that currently the 8GB...

Nokia N95 Phone

The N95 is one of the most feature-packed phones money can buy. Its biggest asset is a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics for taking the sharpest,

Huge 2.6-inch screen. Records 30-fps video. Extras galore: 3.5-mm headphone jack, TV output connector, infrared port, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio, and 1-GB memory card

Fattest in this bunch (0.8 inch). Lags when you open media player. Standby mode saps battery charge. And you thought the first iPhones were expensive

Nokia N95 (brown/silver, North American Edition, Unlocked)

When it comes to cool Nokia cell phones and smart phones, we here in the United States are often left in the cold, as our friends in Europe and Asia get all the goods. Well, it seems Nokia has heard our cries; the cell phone manufacturer has opened two...

The Nokia N95 North American Edition adds 3G support and longer battery life. The Symbian smart phone also continues to offer a 5-megapixel camera and integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth

Without the back of a U.S. carrier, the Nokia N95 is expensive and the hardware feels a bit plasticky. Speakerphone quality wasn't the greatest

The North American Edition of the Nokia N95 brings some notable additions, including 3G support and better performance, to make this powerful smart phone even better. However, it'll still leave a deep gouge in your wallet.

Nokia N95

Nobody was more psyched about the N95 than I was. After all, this was to be the phone to end all phones: A 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and Zeiss optics,

Surprisingly lightweight. Ability to rotate screen orientation makes small-screen Web browsing much less annoying. Comes with a 2-gig micro SD card. Hard buttons for media player, camera, and gallery free up soft-key shortcuts. 3.5-milimeter-headphone...

Photos slightly grainy at full-res. Dual slide means that, regardless of the way you position it in your pocket, random numbers regularly get dialed by accident. Insufficient memory to support multiple applications or complicated websites (like, for...

Nokia N95

If you need an all-in-one communications, navigation and imaging device and don't mind charging it every night, Nokia's N95 raises the bar in the mobile world.

Best in class camera and camcorder, 2D/3D GPS satellite navigation, WLAN, mini-USB, UPnP support, Unique slider design, Stereo speakers

Awful battery life, Sluggish when multitasking, Average LED-based flash, Additional GPS charges (data and spoken navigation)
