Nokia X2 - slate (T-Mobile) - Prepaid review: Nokia X2 - slate (T-Mobile) - Prepaid

You know things are really moving fast in the cell phone world when even the prepaid phones are sporting full keyboards. They haven't taken over the space completely, but handsets built for texting are slowly gaining dominance on the budget side of the...

The Nokia X2 has a solid, straightforward design and a comfortable keyboard. Messaging options are plentiful and call quality is satisfactory.

The Nokia X2 has a low-resolution display and lacks a dedicated volume rocker. The speakerphone performance wasn't ideal, and data speeds top out at EDGE.

The Nokia X2 offers basic communication options, plus a couple of extras, in an agreeable design. What's more, it delivers a full keyboard at an affordable price.

Nokia X2 Review

Nokia Xseries was introduced at Nokia World 2009 and now includes around six different models. Xseries handsets are all about the music. Each and every one comes with separate media controls, Stereo speakers, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. An...

One of the most important things for a low-budget phones is to offer as many decent high-end features as possible, and Nokia X2 meets this demand. Targeting users that are looking for music phones, I would also recommend the X2 to those that want to...

Besides the small-sized display and the old S40 interface, I would also enlist here the cheap plastic used on the phone's sides, as well as the lack of an USB cable inside the sales package. Sales Package Nokia X2-00 handset Nokia Battery BL-4C Nokia...

Nokia X2

The Nokia X2 is a mix between a basic prepaid cell phone and a smartphone. It has strong calling and messaging features and offers internet access, but the phone's operating system and outdated browser get in the way of full mobile web access. This...

A QWERTY keypad makes this phone good for text messaging and social networking

An inferior browser and lack of Wi-Fi capability on the Nokia X2 make the phone a poor choice for internet connectivity

The Nokia X2 is a good prepaid phone for calling and messaging, but its operating system and browser are outdated.

Nokia X2 review

The Nokia X2 is a good, cheap entry-level phone, but does it offer enough to satisfy?

Great battery life ; Brilliant for music ; High volume loudspeaker ; FM Radio ; Affordable storage upgrades

Poor keys and hardware navigation ; Low quality camera ; Out of date OS ; No 3G or Wi-Fi ; No GPS

Overview, design and feel The Nokia X2 is an entry-level handset with plenty of features and a penchant for music playback. It sits somewhere between the Nokia C1-01 and the Nokia X3 Touch and Type in both functionality and price.
