Nokia X7-00 review: The stealth xpress

Dressed to kill and with a fresh coat of paint on the interface, the Nokia X7 is keen to show there's still fight left in Symbian. The screen is a definite high point and the stainless steel body is fashioned like a stealth jet fighter. Symbian Anna...

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Penta-band 3G with 10.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA support ; Stainless steel body ; 4" 16M-color AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution; Impressive brightness and Gorilla glass protection ; 8...

Symbian Anna is still catching up with Android and iOS ; Uncomfortable volume rocker, SIM tray and microSD card slot ; Camera lacks auto focus, oversharpens images ; Relatively limited 3rd party software availability ; No office document editing...

The Nokia X7 combines stainless steel and Gorilla glass into one seriously attractive package. It boasts stereo speakers (just two, rather than four as you might think looking at it) to justify its Xseries spot and an 8MP camera with 720p video recording

Nokia X7 Review

The Nokia X7 is one of the front-runners of Symbian Anna, a major overhaul bringing portrait QWERTY input, improved browser and a refreshed design to the Symbian^3 platform. But the X7 is also a media centric device with a premium feel and a 4-inch...

Nokia X7 review: Dare to be different

Having just recently switched to Android and been a Nokia user for the longest time, reviewing the Nokia X7 feels a lot like coming home to a newly renovated house. It's all brand new, but still distinctly familiar. So, the Nokia X7 must be great,...

But Symbian isn’t all that bad, and it’s hard to ignore the strong points of Nokia X7. It’s well built, got a brilliant display and very loud speakers, is more or less guaranteed of the next round of Symbian updates, and most important of all, is fast....

Review: Nokia X7

Nokia bows out Symbian smartphones with a media focus

Solid aluminum body ; Reasonably good AMOLED screen in more moderate light ; Low price ; Fairly good video recording; built-in video editing ; Reliable voice ; Symbian Anna improvements

Symbian Anna still buggy and sub-par ; Disappointing camera ; Slow performance with 3D ; AMOLED has trouble in bright sunlight and off angles ; Not enough price gap to justify skipping other phones

Much has changed since we last looked at a Nokia phone: what was once the undisputed king of smartphones is now fighting to stay a major player after Apple and Google took over. With Windows Phone coming soon, then, devices like the X7 are attempts

Nokia X7 Review

The Nokia X7 first showed up in the Transformers 3 Movie to intrigue the public and it looks like it's kinda working well for them. Read our full review of the Nokia X7 below.

so I have this feeling people might still prefer the N8 over it — unless of course you’re after the multimedia features (which isn’t any much different either). Nevertheless, people will look back at this and remember it as the Transformer phone.

We got our hands on the Nokia X7, so we figured, why not take a lot of pictures of it. As you might already know, the Nokia X7 is a Symbian Anna smartphone,...

Nokia X7 Review

Nokia's X7 was launched concurrently with the Finnish company releasing the new version of its Symbian mobile platform, Anna. Together with the E6,

Excellent build quality ; AMOLED Screen reproduces vivid colors, almost “true black” dark regions ; Camera is above-average ; Excellent sound quality ; Ships with the new Symbian^3 Anna PR2 ; Free OVI Maps GPS Navigation software ; Penta-band radio...

Non-removable battery ; Awkward SIM and microSD card slots ; Slow processor, low amount of memory ; Poor Internet browsing experience ; Symbian is lacking polish and design aesthetics found in Windows Phone 7 and iOS ; Text input can be sometimes...

The Nokia X7 has a futuristic design some of you will like, while others will not. While we wish there were four speakers in the smartphone, the two at the bottom deliver great sound quality and volume even without the spatialization settings enabled.

Nokia X7-00 Review - Introducing Symbian Anna

Although the latest X series phone launched by Nokia, the X1-01 was among the less featured, the Finnish giant continued the series with a top tier device, the X7-00.Nokia X7-00 is the sequel of the old and controversial Nokia X6, which was considered...

Even though I have already praised the phone's design, I feel that I should mention it again here, along with the newly launched Symbian Anna operating system, which definitely changes the phone's insides

There are some downsides that could make the phone less attractive, like the fact that it is overpriced, as well as the lack of autofocus for the 8-megapixel camera

Nokia X7 -

Sporting a tapered edge design, the stylish Nokia X7 is an entertainment-focused smartphone with a 4-inch AMOLED display ideal for gaming, and an 8 megapixel camera for capturing pictures and HD-quality videos.
