OnePlus 5 Smartphone Review

Computation artist. The OnePlus 5 is a fast smartphone that is available for a good price - although it is not as cheap as it used to be and competition has increased. Can the smartphone with dual camera, AMOLED screen and a slim case still hold its...

fancy, slim and very stable case ; dual SIM capable ; supports many LTE frequencies ; good voice quality ; nicely enhanced Android ; no bloatware ; very fast charging time ; exact GPS ; OLED screen with accurate colors ; fast Wi-Fi ; good performance ;...

main camera quality not on high-end level ; heats up under long loads ; throttling during strong load ; jelly effect when scrolling ; interchanged microphone channels for videos ; USB 2.0 only ; no microSD slot ; case is not water or dust resistant

There are lots of interesting questions to answer after our review of the OnePlus 5. So let us begin: The OnePlus 5 is a comparatively cheap smartphone with flagship qualities that did slip up a little regarding image quality of the camera but is very...

OnePlus 5: Everything you need to know about the mid-range flagship

OnePlus has unveiled its new handset, the OnePlus 5, and it packs a Snapdragon 835 chip, a dual camera, and a slightly higher price tag.

There were a few that OnePlus 5 users who dialed 911 in the U.S. or 999 in the UK, and had their phones reboot rather than place a call to emergency services. It doesn’t seem to have been a widespread problem, and OnePlus acted quickly to pinpoint the...

OnePlus 5 review

The OnePlus 5 is simply stellar.

The OnePlus 5 is affordable and super fast, with an 18-hour battery. Its camera takes great portraits and low-light shots.

It costs more than any previous model, its design isn't anything special and it doesn’t have expandable storage.

The OnePlus 5 is outstanding, especially for the price; no other phone gives you the same bang for the buck.

Our OnePlus 5 review focuses on the real-world use of the smartphone with special regard paid to design and the use of the device's camera. The value of this smartphone is in its ability to perform at or above the level of its competitors whilst...

OnePlus 5 review: This mid-range Android phone is speedy inside, but stale outside

Uninspired design notwithstanding, the OnePlus 5 delivers great performance in an affordable Android phone.

Cheaper than other Snapdragon 835 phones. ; Battery is impressive and Dash Charge fills up quickly.

Derivative design and FHD screen leave much to be desired. ; No water resistance, no wireless charging, no earbuds. ; Dual-camera system doesn't perform as well as others'.

DNP OnePlus 5 review: A glorious value

Building a great phone is hard enough, so building a great phone on a budget should be infinitely more difficult. With its fifth flagship, OnePlus makes it look easy. The OnePlus blazingly fast, with a surprisingly good dual camera and solid battery...

Excellent performance ; Good battery life ; Dual camera works very well ; The price!

Design is starting to feel generic ; Still no expandable memory ; Dash charging is a closed standard

Is it perfect? No. But building a phone like this is always an exercise in compromise, and the balance that OnePlus struck among form, functionality and price is incredible. Whether this means OnePlus becomes a household name remains to be seen. For...

OnePlus 5

The OnePlus 5 is an attractive unlocked phone with fast performance, solid camera capabilities, and excellent battery life, but it's not as strong a value as previous models.

Speedy performance. Solid dual-sensor camera with wide and telephoto lenses. Excellent battery life. Highly customizable software. Dual-SIM support.

Modest 1080p screen. No waterproofing or expandable storage. Doesn't support gigabit LTE.

At $539 for the 128GB model and $479 for the 64GB model, the OnePlus 5 is the company's most costly phone yet. But then, in many aspects, you're getting many of the same features you find in phones that cost $200 to $300 more. The OnePlus 5 has the...

OnePlus 5 review: Dual rear cameras, fast CPU and great battery life

The progress of OnePlus over the last few years is nothing short of remarkable. The company has made some excellent handsets, characterised by understated design, exemplary performance and great features -- all for a competitive price.

Great battery life ; Dual 16/20MP rear cameras ; Impressive performance ; Reading Mode is a winner ; Dual SIM ; Good blend of Android and OxygenOS

No MicroSD slot ; Poor-quality speaker ; Moderate screen resolution

OnePlus 5 Review

The OnePlus 5 is the newest phone by OnePlus, a company that in just three years has fought its way to become one of the recognizable names among flagship makers. It did so by word of mouth and a large group of dedicated fans, standing by its ‘never...

Very good price ; Very fast performance ; Display looks great, pleasing colors ; Dash charging is extremely fast and works even when you use your phone ; Plentiful 64GB of internal storage ; Mute switch is nice to have ; Very fast camera (both to open...

Some major apps like Facebook are a bit stuttery and buggy ; Camera is not great ; 4K videos are not stabilized at all, look terribly shaky if you move ; Still no water proofing ; Unoriginal hardware design

The OnePlus 5 is a very, very good phone for a very, very good price.
