HTC Touch HD

HTC's Touch HD has taken mobile display to the next level. For the vidiots like me a display this large sporting the kind of resolution it does is a godsend. I have to admit I was anxiously awaiting its arrival to the Indian market place and was...

The large display is the only feature that actually makes the handset's interface look and feel a little better, but even that had its quirks. None of the handset's other relevant features except for the radio and music player are worth talking about...

HTC Touch HD (Unlocked)

Back in October 2008, we received the unfortunate news (through Twitter, of all things) that HTC would not bring its HTC Touch HD smartphone to the United States. The company wrote "... by the time we could bring Touch HD to the States, it would be old...

The HTC Touch HD boasts a spacious and sharp 3.8-inch WVGA touch screen, and offers integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The Windows Mobile smartphone also includes the Opera Web browser, YouTube app, and a 5-megapixel camera

The Touch HD doesn't support U.S. 3G bands. The smartphone can be sluggish at times, and the video performance is disappointing. It's also expensive

The HTC Touch HD dazzles with its large, high-resolution touch screen, but the smartphone's feature set and performance is average at best. You can get much more for your money.

The Touch HD is a fantastic phone, if you can afford one. It out-performs every HTC phone previously and looks fantastic doing it.

Beautiful, large display, Excellent performance, Good battery life, 3.5mm headphone socket, microSD expansion with 8GB card

Some instances of lag, No free navigation software, It's one of the most expensive smartphones available

HTC Touch HD review: Windows almighty

The Touch HD is storming the WinMo stage to leave a footprint the size of half the HTC portfolio. Not so long ago we saw how sexy Windows Mobile can look, now it gets multimedia hot. There's TouchFLO 3D to roll the heavy WinMo machine into action...

HTC Touch HD is simply the next big thing in the Windows Mobile realm. And big is by no means limited to size. Indeed, the handset does come out a little too hefty but the feature pack is the kind to make you forget about size. The massive screen and...

Hands on With the HTC Touch HD

The smartphone developer has unveiled its biggest threat to the iPhone 3G yet, and the new rival is impressive.

The 3G handset allows users to surf the Web over mobile networks or via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g. The smartphone works on WCDMA 900/2100MHz networks and supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE

The HTC Touch HD has the potential for greatness. Connectivity options are both fast and plentiful, the physical design is attractive, even battery life – which you’d assume would be first victim to the glorious display – surprises with its longevity....

Let's analyze its name – Touch HD. The first word shows that the device belongs to the Touch series, known for its optimized interface in order to be finger-friendly. But what does HD stand for? HTC doesn't explain it but we know it very well -...

HTC Touch HD Review

One of the most expected Windows Mobile-based smartphones of last year, the HTC Touch HD made its appearance on the market a little bit later than its main rivals Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and Samsung i900 Omnia. Although many comparisons have been made...

The amazing touchscreen, the 5-megapixel camera, as well as the cool design are among the strong points of HTC Touch HD. I would also like to mention here the rich sales package that contains an 8GB microSD card. Music quality is also an improvement...

I would've expected some improvements in the performance department. I was pretty disappointed to find that HTC Touch HD seems to have almost the same benchmark results as Touch Pro. Not that the latter is not good enough, but smartphones that feature...
