Palm Treo 680

The Palm OS is so widely used around the globe it's in a class by itself. The loyal following that the Palm has, is akin to India's population - growing. It's versatility for adapting to the plethora of third party applications that are designed for...

At Rs. 26,000 I don’t really believe it's really worth THAT price as the features are so very minimal and the battery is such a disappointment from the previous models. But on the other hand, the sheer volume of applications available out there can...

Palm Treo 680 (silver, unlocked)

When Palm first announced the Treo 680 back in October, the tech press (present company included) reacted with skepticism over the new device's lackluster features. Though Palm touted it as a "low-cost" device, we had no idea what that meant as the...

The Palm Treo 680 features a sleeker design; integrated Bluetooth with the ability to use it as a wireless modem; more user-accessible memory; and e-mail capabilities. It also offers a bright touch screen and productivity tools and is easy to use

The smart phone doesn't have integrated Wi-Fi nor does it support Palm's Wi-Fi card or voice dialing. What's more, the VGA camera is disappointing, the QWERTY keyboard is a bit cramped, and the speakerphone quality is a bit scratchy

With a user-friendly interface, decent performance, and an affordable price point, the Palm Treo 680 is a good smart phone for the first-time buyer or for mobile users looking to be more productive on the road; we just wish it had a better camera and...

With its distinctive candy-bar design and carefully crafted thumb keyboard, Palm's Treo has become an iconic PDA phone--but new models generally debut at prices that only serious mobile professionals can easily stomach. The Treo 680 arrives with a...

Features a streamlined new look Includes a robust software bundle

Lacks high-speed data access

Overall, the 680 makes for a decent entry-level Treo that improves on the 650. People who've resisted trading in an older phone and a Palm for a single device should check it out

A nicely priced smart phone that's both user- and pocket-friendly.

Bigger display than Pearl • Excellent GPS system • Long battery life • Good data performance • Built-in media player

Keyboard a bit cramped • No camera• No stereo Bluetooth support

Palm Treo 680 launches on Cingular, $199

We got a Treo here, everybody, the 680 to be exact. It is, as we all well know by now, going to go for $200 after two year service agreement (with unlimited data plan), and will be available as of Black Friday. Wii for the kids, Treo 680 for ...

Palm Treo 680

Improving ever so slightly on the popular Palm Treo 650, the new Palm Treo 680 is a basic, easy-to-use smartphone. Palm's OS is still the simplest thing around for calendar-and-contacts management, so this smartphone will attract folks skittish about...

More memory than Treo 650. Still very easy to use

Lacks high-speed data, stereo Bluetooth, multitasking, and other common modern features. Not a great speakerphone

An incremental update to the Treo 650, the Treo 680 is still the easiest smartphone to use. It will appeal to new smartphone users but not to the tech-savvy.

Palm 680 update for AT&T subscribers

If you have a Palm Treo 680 and are an AT&T customer, then you will want to take advantage of a free update being offered by Palm. The update is only for AT&T or Cingular branded phones, and so an AT&T or Cingular logo will appear above the screen. If...

Product Specifications

Say hello to the Palm Treo 680 smartphone. It's your phone along with email, messaging, and web access. Not to mention your contacts, calendar, photos, and songs. Sounds like a lot. And it is. But everything's so easy to learn that you'll actually use it, which makes it anything but a typical phone. The same goes for design. Pick it up and you'll notice a large color touch screen and an easy-type keyboard. Since the Treo 680 is just the right size, you have the freedom to take it anywhere and still be connected to friends, work, and family. Of course, there's also something called an "off" button, for when you don't want to be connected at all.
