Pantech Breeze III - gray (AT&T) review

While Pantech has dabbled with smartphones like the Matrix Pro and the more recent Crossover, its core business in the U.S. has always been in the feature-phone market. In fact, one of its more successful models has been its Breeze handsets, which are...

The Pantech Breeze III has a slim and stylish flip-phone design. The display is bright and customizable with large fonts, and the keypad is spacious. It has both an easy and advanced mode to suit customers with different comfort levels. Features...

The Pantech Breeze III doesn't have too many design and feature improvements over its predecessor. Some features available in advanced mode are not available in easy mode, which makes sense for some functions, but seem arbitrary for others.

The Pantech Breeze III is a well-designed and affordable entry-level handset for senior citizens, kids, and cell phone novices.

Pantech Breeze III (AT&T)

The Pantech Breeze III offers little improvement over its predecessor, but its predecessor was a good phone.

Great voice quality. Good balance of features for the price. Still a bargain.

Non-standard headphone jack. MicroSD card slot buried beneath the battery. Below-average reception.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions Last time around, we dinged the Breeze II for burying the microSD memory card slot underneath the battery; sadly, that hasn’t changed. At least the phone boots relatively quickly. My 32GB SanDisk card worked fine,...

Pantech Breeze III and Pursuit II (AT&T) Review

The Pantech Breeze III and Persuit II phones are two low-end GSM phones available on the AT&T network for under $100 (currently and often just under $50 with rebate) for new customers with a 2 year term. While both offer decent (and different)...

Breeze III: simple flip phone with Edge network access ; Pursuit II: very good physical keyboard ; Both: good voice clarity

Both: Slow network access speeds ; Breeze III: all the downsides of a simple flip phone the most obvious being text entry and simple apps ; Pursuit II: slow speeds, lack of significant third-part application options, poor touch response

These two phones, along with the sync software, are capable enough at what they do, but they’re definitely trailing edge technology, with a few updates to more modern components and capabilities. With the immense downward pressure of smartphone prices...

Pantech Breeze III: Senior Citizen Special?

The Pantech Breeze III doesn't bring a great deal to justify the new iteration. It is another cheap and basic feature phone with a clamshell design that is aimed at senior citizens and people who just want a phone that's a phone. It does have a few...

You could do a lot worse than the Pantech Breeze III. Actually scrub that, you couldn’t do a lot worse, but it is cheap, it looks okay and it works as a phone. It can even manage a couple of other things at a push. It probably offers the right...

Great simple phone

The battery sometimes goes lower faster when utilizing functions on BREEZE mode. The keys are very well laid out and can be utilized for fast dialing and text messaging. The other problem being I never dropped phone in water and neither did anyone I...

Has two modes, one for the senior that might not know about phones, or the one that is a cell phone know it all and can figure things out

The battery holds different in senior mode, at least in my case (I believe called BREEZE mode)

"A Real Cellphone"

The main thing is I'm old fashion. I only want a cell phone. And if your like me this is one for your. After all the cell phone was made to take the place of the old Beepers. One of these days when they advertise the cell phones they are going to tell...

It has a very good sound quality, the ring tones are loud and the speaker phone. And also the talk listening volume. You can hear someone very clear. It has Noise Suppression so when you are talking to someone they can hear you with no problem.

what I don't like is the 3 short cut buttons at the top. The phone can do without those. And I don't like having to change the Phone Mode to get to certain sections of the menu. It has Breeze Mode or Advanced Mode they should have made just one Mode.
