Pantech Caper (Verizon Wireless, Prepaid)

Pantech has long embraced the messaging phone market with its basic handsets like the Pantech Link and the Pantech Jest . The Pantech Caper is the most recent one to join the family, and it's designed specifically for Verizon Wireless 's prepaid plan....

The Pantech Caper is a slim and compact phone with a great physical keyboard. Features include a basic 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and mobile e-mail.

The Pantech Caper does not have very good photo quality.

The Pantech Caper is a solid messaging phone for the prepaid crowd, as long as you don't expect multimedia features.

"USELESS TO AN ADULT PROFESSIONAL USER"

AVOID VERIZON, IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THEY REFUSE TO TAKE THIS THIS USELESS PIECE OF CR*P.

NOT IMPORTANT CONSIDERING WHAT IS SCREWED UP WITH THIS PHONE AS SPECED BY VERIZON

CALENDAR IS USELESS. HOLDS 27 EVENTS, UNSORTED BY TIME. ARE THEY KIDDING?

Simple phone with annoying problems

Good voice quality. Decent reception. Good battery life

Buttons too sensitive, goes off when bumped. Nav control goes into Web mode too easily or while in pocket. Buttons on all sides prevent the use of a case or way to keep the phone isolated from being inadvertently triggered. Bad ergonomic design, bad user

"Simple phone with annoying problems"

I'm torn in my opinion of this phone. It has a terrible user interface, hypersensitive buttons that go off no matter what you do, (including using the incredibly lame "lock" feature). When using it with a bluetooth device you are constantly hearing...

"The phone is okay, the charger is pure junk."

Decent phone, Crap charger

Full QWERTY keyboard, great for texting. Great call quality

The charger. After about 2 weeks the thing acted up and I had to mess with the cable to get it to charge every night. Gosh, the charger needs a major upgrade.

"Great For Parents And Small Children"

The phone is an okay phone and would be great for small children and parents wanting to step up from a flip phone. Coming from a teenager i would definitely not recommend this phone because it is too slow and not at all for entertainment and strictly...

The keyboard it a full keyboard which is great for texters. Ringtones play very loud and at a great sound quality. The caper is very light and inexpensive. The phone is fairly easy to set up and get going.

The first one i bought had a back piece that was built wrong therefore i had to take it back and swap for another one. There i learned that many people had the same problem. The picture quality is horrible therefore i do not take pictures on my phone and
