Below-average battery life; Lacks Jelly Bean

Pantech Discover (AT&T)

Pantech isn't as well-known as fellow Korean smartphone competitors LG and Samsung, and it's a shame. It tends to sell attractive and original smartphones with top-tier U.S. carriers at a low contract cost. For example, the Pantech Discover offers...

The 4G LTE Pantech Discover has an excellent ergonomic design, great external speakers, a good camera, and comes at an incredible value.

For a Android smartphone that's $150.00 LESS than some other phones and has the same features you'd be crazy NOT to get it.

Good Price[$49.99]

No Jelly Bean yet.

"Fast, yet bleak"

This is day 5 with my Pantech Discover, so let me recap...

Its a punchy phone with good response times, excellent 4G speeds, awesome battery life, great sound, and extremely fast boot times for system and apps.

TONS of bloatware, missing some importat features that are standard on most phones, not a lot of customization options out of the box, and some annoying glitches.

"Great phone for ordinary users."

Overall, I really like this phone. I am not a power user nor a rooter, just an average apps and pictures and music and texting person. This phone does all that and does it well. This phone and my
