Pantech Pursuit II (green, AT&T)

When we reviewed the Pantech Pursuit last year, we were particularly taken by the phone's fun and smart design. It even had a unique "shake" control that you could map to a variety of different functions. With its basic messaging phone features, the...

The Pantech Pursuit II is a solid and attractive messaging phone with a roomy slide-out keyboard. Features include GPS, 3G, Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera, an HTML browser, and social networking apps

The Pantech Pursuit II doesn't offer many improvements over the original Pursuit, with a slightly more generic design. The HTML browser is pretty bare-bones, and we would've liked better 3G speeds. Mobile e-mail requires a subscription fee

The Pantech Pursuit II is not much better than its predecessor, but if all you want is an affordable and functional messaging phone from AT&T, the Pursuit II gets the job done.

Pantech Pursuit II (AT&T)

Sliding the screen up reveals a four-row QWERTY keyboard with matte plastic keys. They're slightly raised and easy to press, and typing long messages was a breeze. There are large physical Send, End, and Back buttons beneath the display, which are all...

Good call quality. Solid QWERTY keyboard. Responsive UI

Proprietary headphone jack. No voice dialing. Expensive data plans

Though not much of an improvement over its predecessor, the Pantech Pursuit II is a good messaging phone for AT&T subscribers.

"Good phone"

I've had this phone for only a few days and it's just okay. I had the LG Cosmos and I liked that better. It's a little small and the keys are small and I constantly hit the wrong one. The camera is a 2 megapixel and it is very nice. The pink or green...

Decent Touch, Poor Voice Quality, Interface Problems

Solid construction, decent touch features, and a qwerty keyboard save this phone from being a really bad buy. I gave it two stars which CNET suggests as "Mediocre", which describes this phone perfectly. The poor message interface also gives you no...

The phone has all the gadgets that are fairly standard on touch screen models these days. Fairly intuitive menus, easy to hit icons, generally responsive touchscreen. The green model that I have looks pretty good, is small and fairly hardy when it comes t

Voice quality is not good at all, people sound flat and tinny, and the speaker is very directionally sensitive to where I have to have it rammed right into my ear to hear a person talking even in the quiet of my own apartment. The messaging interface is j

Such a great little phone! I love it!

Over all this is probably my favorite phone to date and I've had A LOT of phones :) I started using cells in the analog days and as far as fun, cute, functional and ease go, this phone is tops!

Touch screen and keyboard. Tons of apps. Easy to use. Good size buttons for us acrylic nail wearing ladies. Super cute and compact but not Zoolander compact ;) GREAT pic quality and great reception (compared to the last samsung I had that had the worst ev

Again, not a techy so I am struggling to figure out how to set ring tones and the quick start manuals directions are not working but I just got it yesterday so I'll figure it out. Other part I don't really care for is texting via the touch screen. Too man

Great little phone

Call quality is great so far ; Screen is a nice size and is vibrant and clear ; Touchscreen is very responsive and quick ; Keys on the QWERTY pad are decent sized ; 2MP Camera

Delay between pressing to take the picture and when it actually takes it
