Pleasantly surprised

This is the first Samsung mobile that I have owned after previously only having Nokias. I was pleasantly surprised to find I liked the phone. However it did not come with a proper manual so it took me some time and researching to change the features to...

Attractive, compatible with Telstra 3G network, all the features I need

Takes a little while to get use to if been using a different brand of phone, texting dictionary not as good as some other brands, lack of manuals provided

Excellent

I am an older person and I say that the "Samsung A412" is very user friendly. The instruction booklet was easy to understand and from there I just read and learnt how to use my new phone. Since I have had my Samsung I have been very pleased with it as...

This phone is a very user friendly phone and it has everything with it.

Nothing comes to mind.

Terrible

I've had it for just over 4 months and already I hate it. I have always had Nokias but I decided to take the plunge and try out a Samsung... will NEVER do so again. Go for a Nokia, they are cheaper and WAY better quality.

Small, lightweight, simple.

Battery is extremely unreliable, seems to hold a charge for a while then suddenly goes flat. Needs charging every day (sometimes twice a day) if you use it a fair bit. If you don't use it at all, it needs charging every 2-3 days. Camera sucks, software...

Good

Had this phone around 6 months and love it. I am older and find it easy to use. Would buy again

compact and lightweight, suits all my needs, easily read screen, very good value for money

sometimes functions are difficult to locate, not where you would assume them to be.

Good

I like the phone cos it is just that a phone. Camera is too low res to be of much good.

Actually its a mobile phone, the other review is correctin saying its pretty basic but most oldies just wanrt a phone with no gizmos to go wrong or confuse them, in that regard its not bad.Has been reliable and is almost as good in reception as my old...

Silver colour make seeing the letters on the keypad almost impossible, battery seems to last a while but once it gets down its seems to turn off with little warning.

Bad

A good phone for children as a first phone but not very good in colour display and picture quality. I wouldn't reccomend this phone to anyone over 12.

This phone is great for kids and first phones as it is hardy but not so much teens. It is simple which is good for younger children when they are just getting used to it.

The colour display is very poor and the pictures come out as blurs. There is not much space on it to store music, pictures and videos. As it came out a few years ago there are much better mobiles you can get for the same price.
