Samsung Chrono (Cricket Wireless) review: Samsung Chrono (Cricket Wireless)

The Samsung Chrono has excellent call quality, large dial-pad buttons, and a smooth, attractive design.

Its basic screen resolution and camera don't do the Chrono any favors.

A fantastic price and clear call quality make the Samsung Chrono a top pick for U.S. Cellular customers who are looking for just the essentials.

Samsung Chrono Reviewed

A review of a back-to-basics phone from Samsung -- the Samsung Chrono on either US Cellular or Cricket. We investigate if this budget phone has budget credentials, or is it actually a worthwhile purchase?

Large display, all the standard features.

The worst predictive text program I have ever encountered, exterior volume button makes it too easy to accidentally silence your phone, camera button is right where my thumb wants to be when taking calls.

"Least favorite of all my cricket phones"

This phone replaced what I thought was the same older model Samsung that took a swim with me when my boat sank. Build quality doesn't seem as sturdy, and it's been dumbed down for what?

Flip phone, info available on front screen, caller id and date time.

What's the use of having large numbers if they lay flat on the keypad?
