This would be an excellent little phone, if it wasn't for that it makes annoying noises that can not be disabled.

If you are just looking for a phone with no 3G, simply for making and receiving calls & texts, then you'll be alright with this samsung. The keypad is rather soft (plastic) so mhhh not sure how long that would last with all the buttons being pressed...
