Epic 4G Review

Epic 4G Review - This in-depth review of the Samsung Epic 4G shows you how it really feels to use this smartphone and candidly lists the strengths and weaknesses of this smartphone

The Samsung Epic 4G is an excellent Android phone, but arguably not the sexiest one. It is fast, very responsive and can handle media and games beautifully – thanks to its AMOLED display and fast processor. The Epic 4G looks like many other Galaxy S...

Samsung Epic 4G Touch ( Sprint)

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch boasts a large and bright 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. With a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, the Android smartphone is fast and 4G-capable. Camera quality is also excellent.

Call quality could be better. The phone is large and has a plastic build.

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch offers speedy performance, a beautiful screen, and a great multimedia experience to make it one of Sprint's top Android phones, but its large size won't be for everyone.

Samsung Epic 4G Review: The Fastest Android Phone

This one has been a hotly requested item from you all: a review of the Samsung Galaxy S. Samsung sent us their newest Galaxy S phone, the Epic 4G for use on Sprint's WiMAX network. It's the first 4" phone we've reviewed, the first to use Samsung's...

With each new iteration of Android smartphone we get closer to the perfect device. Samsung took some pretty big steps toward that ideal ‘droid but regressed in others.

Very Few Bones to Pick With Samsung's Big Beautiful Phone

Just say "no" to be being an iClone. Get a device with an open OS, lightning fast data connectivity and a network that won't drop calls every five minutes.

Samsung Epic 4G

In the universe of Samsung's Galaxy S phones, Sprint's Epic 4G, may be the brightest star, and not just because it's the only 4G model of the bunch. The Epic is shockingly light, considering it's a third thicker than the other also abnormally...

Bright, colorful, glossy 4-inch AMOLED screen ; 4G connectivity with mobile hotspot ; 5 MP camera/720p HD video recorder ; 16 GB pre-installed memory ; Lightweight for its size

Touch controls backlighting out-of-sync with screen ; Screen dims in sunshine ; Lock/hold switch in camera mode ; Occasional processor lag ; 50 more than EVO

With 4G connectivity and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Sprint’s Epic 4G outshines every other Samsung Galaxy S variant on the market.

Epic 4G review

Of the seemingly countless variants of the Galaxy S that Samsung's in the process of deploying around the globe, one stands out in a couple very unique

Amazing display ; Fast -- both the processor and the data ; Solid camera performance

Keyboard could be better ; Samsung's UI customizations are an annoyance ; 50 more than EVO is a tough sell

Samsung Epic 4G

A fantastic keyboard, 4G data capability, and a jaw-dropping display make this Android phone worth the premium.

With the arrival of the Samsung Epic 4G, Sprint now has the best one-two smart phone punch of any carrier. The Evo 4G is great for those who don't need a physical keybord and want perks like HDMI output and a built-in kickstand. It also has a more...

Samsung Epic 4G (Sprint)

Editors' note, August 18, 2010: Upon further analysis, we have upgraded the rating of the Samsung Epic 4G to 8.7.

The Samsung Epic 4G has a knockout Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz processor, a front-facing camera, an impressive QWERTY keyboard, a 5.0-megapixel camera with an LED flash, and supports Sprint's 4G WiMax network. It is capable of acting as a mobile Wi-Fi...

The Samsung Epic 4G is the bulkiest of the Galaxy S phones and also the priciest. It also requires a costly data plan

The Samsung Epic 4G is a multimedia powerhouse with features the other Galaxy S phones don't have. Unfortunately, it comes with a big price tag.

Samsung Epic 4G (Sprint)

Almost passive-aggressively, Samsung seems to have sabotaged the four important touch buttons below the screen. When they're not lit up, they disappear and become impossible to press; you have to tap on the screen to light them up while you're in the...

Gorgeous screen. Big, comfortable keyboard. Fast. Great video support. WiMAX 4G

No voice dialing over Bluetooth. A few buttons can be unresponsive. You have to pay for 4G even if you can't use it

The Samsung Epic 4G is Sprint's top keyboarded smartphone, and it's the right choice for power users who like physical buttons.
