Samsung Galaxy Express Review

You get a decent display, comfortable and attractive design, good performance, and speedy 4G LTE.

For a $1 smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Express is fantastic. You get a decent display, comfortable and attractive design, good performance, and speedy 4G LTE. If you’re on a tight budget and really need to get a phone for next to nothing, the Express...

Samsung Galaxy Express review: Jelly Bean Express

The Samsung Galaxy Express represents an interesting mix of features. The latest Jelly Bean flavor, the impressively fast processor, the LTE connectivity, the spectacular 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, and the Galaxy S III looks are all...

Quad-band GSM, 3G, and LTE support ; 21.1 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA support ; 4.5" 16M-color Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen of WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution ; Android OS 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Nature UX ; 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm...

No dedicated camera key ; Preinstalled video player lacks DivX video support ; Poor low-light camera performance ; WVGA resolution wears thin on the 4.5" screen

Throughout our examination of the I8730 Galaxy Express, we've touched again and again on the dual-core processor under the hood. We've seen quite a lot of Samsung devices with the latest of Android on comparable screen sizes, but it's really the Krait...

Samsung Galaxy Express (Aio Wireless)

The Samsung Galaxy Express is the cheapest LTE-enabled option on Aio Wireless, but it's a pretty dated Android smartphone.

4G LTE capability. Inexpensive. Reliable and consistent experience.

Dated design and performance.

Samsung Galaxy Express (AT&T) review

Though the Samsung Galaxy Express looks uncannily like a junior-size GS3 , the handset is actually a midlevel phone with a bargain price.

The Samsung Galaxy Express runs on 4G LTE, has good call quality, and a decent 5-megapixel camera.

The Galaxy Express is preloaded with too much bloatware and its screen has a bluish hue at certain angles.

With its reasonable $100 price tag, AT&T's Galaxy Express' solid performance and respectable specs are a good deal -- but pass it up if you want a more powerful camera.

Samsung Galaxy Express Review: First Look

"It's a great mid range phone. Size is just right for my hands and inside pocket. Good battery life. Your are paying alot less than S3 yet have most of S3 features, it's steal. Running on Jelly Bean is fast and fliud."

The Express is set to arrive in the UK sometime in the first half of the year, meaning that it could touch down once the likes of Three, O2, Vodafone and LIFE Mobile have joined the 4G party.

AT&T's Samsung Galaxy Express is a 4G LTE bargain

The Express is equipped with a decent 5-megapixel camera, a dual-core processor, and 4G LTE speeds -- all for just $100.

Samsung Galaxy Express review

Running on Android 4.1.2, the Galaxy Express boasts the kind of specs you'd expect from a modern middle-of-the-pack smartphone with a dual-core CPU, 4GB of onboard storage, a 4GB MicroSD included, and a passable display.

At the end of the day the only thing that really impressed us was the battery life, which just meant that it was able to frustrate us for longer before needing a recharge. Samsung has made some great phones, but the Galaxy Express is not one of them.
