Samsung S7350 Ultra s review: Sliding into place

The Samsung S7350 Ultra s may as well be your next phone. Oh well, maybe no one will know but if you can live with that, you'll get to enjoy a solid and attractive slider with a nice screen, premium data speeds and high-end media...

Quad-band GSM and dual-band (900/2100 MHz) UMTS with HSDPA (7.2 Mbps) support ; Large 2.6" 16M-color TFT display of WQVGA(400x240) resolution ; 12.6mm thick ; 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, face and smile detection, Wide Dynamic Range and...

No full-featured voice-guided navigation software ; Inadequate flash performance ; Video recording quality isn't up to scratch (although the framerate is pretty good) ; Initial memory card initialization is quite slow

The tremendous Soul footprint in the Samsung portfolio is not the point here. We're watching the new midrange take shape. Less prominent but more capable than yesterday's high-end seems to be the way it's going. Is it a fair trade - we guess we're...

Samsung Ultra S S7350 Review

We have recently presented our review of the Samsung UltraTOUCH S8300, the current lineup flagship and now we are about to introduce one of its runners-up to you, the Samsung Ultra S S7350. It is a slider that looks similarly, although there are a...

Samsung UltraS S7350

Samsung UltraS s7350 may seem like just any ordinary slider phone from Samsung. In fact, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles a lot of people look for a new phone nowadays (like WiFi, etc). However, the S7350 has some unique features I've only...

Samsung Ultra S (S7350) mobile phone

Described by Samsung as a "truly feminine handset", the Samsung Ultra S mobile phone is, predictably, pink.

Nice design, good build quality, simple UI, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, HSDPA-capable, Fake Call is amusing

It's pink, keypad is flat and spongy, no Wi-Fi, no 3.5mm headphone jack, Mirror Mode is virtually useless

Take the Samsung UltraTouch, strip the touch screen and AMOLED display, splash it with a coat of pink paint and give some basic functions "feminine" names and you have the Samsung Ultra S. It isn’t a bad phone, but there is nothing exciting about it.

Samsung UltraS S7350 review

Looking remarkably similar to the Samsung UltraTouch minus the touchscreen, the Samsung UltraS S7350 is a capable phone with some decent features, but it doesn't offer anything new or particularly exciting, and its "feminine" features are little more...

Samsung S7350 Review

We're always disappointed when there's no 3.5mm headphone jack as we prefer the freedom of choosing our own headphones.

If you’re intending to use a handset for a lot of typing – be it emails or texts – we wouldn’t recommend the Samsung’s S7350; the 1-9 numberpad just puts up too much resistance. But for very light texting, calling and some light web use, it's a...

Samsung Ultra S (S7350)

The Ultra S is the best Samsung phone in this price range. Anyone looking for decent phone features and an excellent camera should check out the Ultra S, especially lovers of pink.

Well designed, inside and out ; Excellent 5-megapixel camera ; Decent music player ; Fake call and mirror-mode

Below average battery life ; Small keypad lacks definition

The Samsung Ultra S is an alluring package for anyone seeking a sexy phone with a decent camera. It doesn't nail all aspects of a converged device, but Samsung seems to have focused on the aspects it thinks will be most desirable to the targeted...

Samsung S7350

A mid-range media powerhouse, the Samsung S7350 sports an elegant metallic look, a lovely LCD display and a rather excellent 5 megapixel camera.

Samsung’s S7350 is a little old hat compared to other touch-screen phones, but it is perfect for people who don't want to venture down that route yet, but still want modern features on a stylish slider.

Samsung Ultra S (S7350)

Camera takes the best shots I have seen. Obviously not as good as the 8-12 megapixels but very good compared to the other 5 megapixels. Note that the Australian version of the phone does not have a mirror mode.
