The Samsung Haven has a bright screen, large dialpad keys, voice command, and useful shortcut buttons. Its reminder alarms and medical info tool add functionality and peace of mind

Some features, like "healing music" and a photo gallery shortcut, seem out of place. Call quality varies

The basic Samsung Haven makes good use of its design and tools to become an easy-to-use and affordable phone for seniors.

Useful charging cradle. Solid call quality. One-touch emergency call buttons

No Bluetooth or camera. Middling battery life. Zero media features

Great basic phone for elderly or disabled.

 

I feel this is a great phone for the elderly or disabled. Updated on May 2, 2011

I picked this phone out for my husband who is disabled. It is very user friendly and very simple to use. Nice big buttons. Large print, easy to read. Has good volume even without the speaker on. May list up to 3 ICE contacts along with medical inform

94 y/o mom has this phone. Real Prob for her & all us!

 

She can feel buttons(was almost blind) & see them. Now that has good eyes, can see buttons 7 happy she can see battery bars. I can hear her just fine. Has a stand that's easy for her to put into to charge. 3 ICE & 911 easy & good

Where VOLUME TOGGLES are located is where anyone-her-would hold the phone! She accidentally turns the volume off & then NO RING!! Then, goes to full voice mail-she doesn't know how to do that. Think there is a dyfunction b/c my siblings clear it

I hate this phone!!! My mom is very old, but far from dying--but 94. I don't get to go see her for many (7-9 ) yrs from CA to PA (no $$ for plane). So, talking on phone w/ her is my only way to connect w/ her. Her hands have too much arthritis to write...
