Samsung Star 3 Review

The Samsung Star 3 is representing a breed that will become increasingly rare in the future – featurephones – as those are being gradually pushed away by the smartphone crowd, even in the entry level segment. Let's explore if a phone like the Star 3 is...

Cheap and compact ; Good call quality ; Wi-Fi connectivity

Laggy interface ; Browser struggles to render heavier pages ; Low pixel density ; No ambient light and accelerator sensors

The Samsung Star 3 is aiming for the sub-$100 mark without any subsidies, so there isn't much else we can desire from its hardware except what is already in there. We wish it had at least the same screen as the Star 2, but the slightly lower pixel...

Samsung Tocco Lite 2 review

Will Samsung's budget handset see the same success as the original Tocco Lite?

Great battery life ; Good for making calls ; Loads of messaging options ; Decent music player ; Expandable storage

Poor touch screen ; Cramped keyboard ; No 3G ; Only 20MB of internal storage ; Slow browser

The problem with the Samsung Tocco Lite 2 is that it's a feature phone, not a smartphone, but it's priced at around the same level as some budget smartphones.

Samsung Tocco Lite 2 review

The Samsung Tocco Lite 2 may technically be a smart phone, but using it is no pleasure and all chore. Inside this dinky handset are hidden the rusty cogs of yesteryear's tech and even its best features are only mediocre. Save your pennies for an...

Expandable memory ; Good battery life

Weak processor and performance ; Poor app store ; Terrible browsing experience ; No 3G connectivity ; Shoddy software ; Unresponsive low-res touchscreen

The Samsung Tocco Lite 2 purports to be a smart phone, but frankly, by using that label, it's making promises it can't keep. Despite a low price and long battery life, anyone who buys this phone looking to make use of Internet-reliant features such as...

Samsung Tocco Lite 2

If you're on a budget and need a handset for texting and calls, it's worth looking at the Samsung Tocco Lite 2. It's nice looking, and the screen is responsive. However, the lack of 3G and Wi-Fi is an issue for internet fans.

Good build quality, responsive touchscreen, really long battery life

Connectivity is slow because there’s no 3G or Wi-Fi ; no 3.5mm audio jack

Samsung Star 3 Duos Gets Unboxed and Reviewed on iGyaan (Video)

Another one of those duos phones, the Samsung Star 3 Duos is the next version of the Samsung Star Series and is a great add on to their existing lineup. Priced just in the Rs. 5000 price bracket the phone delivers quite a bunch of surprises.

I bought this for my little cousin. He loves it as it gives him a little freedom to call friends which it does very well. He also likes taking pictures and is happy with his results. (not top notch but he don't need that) He finds it easy use so why...
