Samsung Intensity SCH-u450

The Samsung Intensity gives Verizon subscribers an inexpensive QWERTY phone for voice calls, messaging, and GPS navigation.

Solid build quality. Pleasant QWERTY keyboard. Excellent battery life.

Non-standard headphone jack. Crappy camera. Includes Verizon's usual nickel-and-dime messaging apps.

Camera and Conclusions The 1.3-megapixel camera has no flash or auto-focus; there's also no video recorder. Test photos exhibited stronger color than usual for a cell phone camera, and shutter speeds were fast at just under one second. But there was a...

Samsung Intensity review: Samsung Intensity

The Samsung Intensity has an attractive and compact design, a great keyboard, and a nice display. It has a megapixel camera, a music player, and GPS.

The Samsung Intensity can't download songs over the air even though it is compatible with V Cast Music, the navigation keys are a little cramped, and the photo quality could be improved. The microSD card slot is inconveniently located behind the...

The Samsung Intensity is a simple entry-level messaging phone with a few multimedia goodies that's very affordable and easy to use.

Samsung Intensity (U450)

The phones are hard to open one-handed unless you have a rubberized or some other type cover. It will be interesting to see how they stand up to rigorous usage by my kids. Buttons are kinda small but I think most phones are like that. Pros: MP3 player,...
