Sanyo Innuendo SCP-6780 (Boost Mobile)

Almost a year ago, Sanyo released its Incognito messaging phone for Sprint. Though we appreciated its spacious keyboard and call quality, we weren't so impressed by the exterior touch controls and tiny display. Sure, the design was attractive and...

The Sanyo Innuendo has a functional feature set, agreeable call quality, and a comfortable and spacious messaging keyboard

The Sanyo Innuendo's exterior controls and display aren't very user-friendly. Internal performance was mixed and the audio was somewhat distorted at the highest volume levels

We still don't love the design concept, but the Sanyo Innuendo succeeds as a messaging phone with some multimedia.

Sanyo Innuendo SCP-6780 (Sprint)

Flip the Innuendo open and things improve further. The slightly larger, colorful 2.8-inch display now sports 240-by-400-pixel resolution, which gives you a little more room for Web pages and sharper fonts. The four-row QWERTY keyboard features...

Sleek and stylish. Clear voice quality. Excellent QWERTY keyboard. Very loud speakerphone. Free with a two-year contract

Cool-looking OLED keypad is tough to dial on. Disappointing camera. Non-standard headphone jack. Must pull the battery to swap memory cards

The shrewdly updated Sanyo Innuendo SCP-6780 for Sprint features a smoother look, a svelte build, and a better camera than its predecessor, the Incognito.

Sanyo Innuendo Review

As a follow-up to the Sanyo Incognito, the Sanyo Innuendo by Kyocera has arrived on Sprint shelves. It boasts a few modest upgrades as well as an elegant re-design. Still sporting a clean, mirrored face with a hidden keypad the Innuendo has slimmed...

"Horrible phone. Would not recommend to anyone."

This phone is downright awful. The call quality is poor, and honestly - it does not work when it is raining outside! In sunny weather, it is still difficult to keep a signal long enough to hold a normal-length conversation, but in the rain, forget...

Good battery life.

Drops calls unlike anything else.

"Great for sending text messages nice keyboard."

I would not recommend this phone to anyone. Too many dropped calls, dropped once and the pixels have become two blobs, but I can still see the screen. I lock the screen on the outside and it still dials numbers when I am on the phone and hangs up on...

Great for sending text messages nice keyboard, nice pictures.

Lock the outside screen and it comes unlocked while using and hangs up on the caller. Issues with email locks up and only way to fix it is to take the battery out and since my email is now attached to my calendar I can't use it either.

"Worst mobile phone that we've ever used."

I purchased this phone (online) for my mother to use on Boost. What a mistake that was! First, the phone came with a malfunctioning battery. It wouldn't hold a charge. A kind rep at a Sprint retail store was nice enough to replace the battery for free...

Sturdy construction

Terrible battery
