Sony Ericsson C905 Review

The 8.1 Megapixel Cyber-Shot camera is the best feature of the Sony Ericsson C905, that is already on the market [...]

The Sony Ericsson is a good basic phone with a killer camera and well integrated multimedia features. Messaging is ok as long as you have an account among the limited number of providers embedded in the phone.

Sony Ericsson C905 Cybershot

Sony Ericsson's 8 megapixel camera phone, the C905 Cybershot, made its way into our labs just recently and it has a few neat surprises in store for SE fans. Allow me to give you my impression on

Sony Ericsson C905A

The Sony Ericsson C905a cell phone ($180 with a two-year contract from AT&T, as of 8/20/09) might be better described as a camera that happens to have a phone attached to it. As a phone, it will do the job; but its 8.1-megapixel camera with an LED...

Excellent camera ; Crisp, bright screen

No standard headphone jack ; Average call quality

In my hands-on tests in the San Francisco Bay Area, I found the C905a's call quality just average. Voices weren't especially clear, but they had adequate volume

Sony Ericsson's C905a is an average phone, but its camera impresses.

Sony's 8-MP Cam Phone Acts Like a Big Shot

Sony Ericsson raises the cam-phone resolution level to an near ridiculous 8-megapixels. Will other phone makers follow suit?

Offers a capable “everything but the kitchen sink” feature list. Photo and video tweaking toys a-plenty. PictBridge compatible. Automatically resizes huge hi-res photos before sending as MMS. Supports video calling (with compatible phones)

Dull appearance more boring than watching C-Span with the sound off. Virtually flat keypad makes blind texting a nightmare. 8-MP images + 160 MB of memory = non-negotiable memory-stick purchase. Large, side-staged charging port is awkward. 16x digital...

Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a ( AT&T)

The Sony Ericsson C905a has a good 8.1-megapixel camera, 3G/HSDPA speeds, quad-band support, a music player that supports audiobooks and podcasts, and it has good call quality, too.

The Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a doesn't have a 3.5-millimeter headset jack. Unlike its international counterpart, it does not have built-in Wi-Fi.

If you want a high-quality camera phone from AT&T, you can't go wrong with the Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a.

Sony Ericsson C905

The Sony Ericsson C905 is a very good phone with a decent camera, but don't expect this to be the model that has you selling your stand-alone camera on eBay.

Attractive design, Rubberised body, Zippy performance, Excellent battery life

Camera isn't superior to previous Cyber-shot phones, Cramped, stiff keypad, No 3.5mm headphone port on phone, Outrageously expensive

Sony Ericsson C905 review: Cyber shot, cyber hot

High megapixel count is the rage these days and Sony Ericsson C905 is adding fuel to the fire. The first 8 megapixel GSM cameraphone to make headlines is shipping as we speak. On top of geotagging...

8.1 MP autofocus camera with Xenon flash and active lens cover ; Dedicated camera mode switch, two camera/gaming keys over the display ; Face and Smile detection, smart contrast, image stabilizer, geotagging, red-eye reduction ; Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE...

Display is relatively small for a high-end device ; Video recording limited to QVGA resolution at 30fps ; No front facing video call camera ; No office document viewer ; Sliding lens cover of questionable durability ; Exposed connectivity port ; Fiddly...

Sony Ericsson C905 will be remembered as the first announced 8 megapixel GSM phone. That alone earns it a line in history but it's performance to decide if the line should become a chapter. By the looks of it, the Sony Ericsson team is going for a...

Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot hands-on: First look

The Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot has managed to create a real stir in the mobile community. It's the first GSM handset that ships with the whopping 8 megapixels worth of camera goodies and such things simply cannot go unnoticed.

Sony Ericsson C905a

The 2.4-inch screen features 240-by-320-pixel resolution and displays up to 262K colors. Below the LCD are a five-way control pad and six hardware buttons. Unfortunately, the Send and End buttons are in between the others, so careful aim is required....

Powerful camera. Solid voice quality and reception. Plenty of media features

Bulky. Battery life is on the short side

Sony Ericsson scores with an excellent high-end camera phone for AT&T subscribers; it's also a solid media device and even sounds good with voice calls.
