Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman Review

We fell in love with the Walkman phones, when the W700i was launched, way back in 2006. Priced at Rs. 15,000, it was one of the hottest selling phones, back then, along with the W810i. A good six years have passed and now the Walkman series has come...

The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is priced at Rs.14,400. It directly competes with a few older models in that price range – the Galaxy Ace, the HTC ChaCha (which is a couple of grands cheaper) and the Nokia 603 (with Symbian Belle). From the current...

Sony Live with Walkman Review: In Depth

You would be forgiven for thinking that the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is a featurephone, and at first glance, it does seem that way. Delve a little deeper though, and you'll find a small yet capable…

Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman Review

A 1Ghz processor and Walkman branding makes for an appealing device.

1Ghz processor keeps everything smooth ; UI modifications are pleasant and unobtrusive ; Affordable

Low screen resolution

The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is a surprisingly good device. If you can look past the Walkman branding of old and accept this for the long lost budget Xperia device that it is, you'll find a good all round package.

But nobody will buy this phone for the specs, it is a mass market music phone. And apart from in the shortage of storage capacity out of the box it does its job admirably.

Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman

The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman, as its name suggests, is a smartphone aimed at music-lovers, and the first of Sony's Walkman-branded smartphones to arrive equipped with Google's Android software. However, with its mid-range features and pint-sized...

Taking its price into consideration, the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is a decent Android smartphone. It runs the latest version of Gingerbread software, and packs a 1GHz processor, a decent music player and a fairly-good camera. However, the...

Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman review

It's got a weird name, but with less demand for standalone mediaplayers these days, it makes sense that the Walkman brandshould now seem most at home on a phone -- in this case an Androidphone with a 5-megapixel camera and fast 1GHz processor.

Quality music player, Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, 5MP camera

Screen could be sharper, battery life not great

Sony Ericsson's Live With Walkman offers a good quality mediaplayer with some genuinely useful extra features and a good cameratoo. Pity about the less than stellar battery life.
