If texting is the main activity on your mobile phone, then the Sony Ericsson Txt is worth looking at, thanks to its hardware keyboard. Otherwise, there are loads of better alternatives.

Usable hardware keyboard if you have small fingers ; Pre-installed Facebook app ; Wi-Fi connectivity

No 3G ; Terrible camera ; Proprietary closed operating system

The Txt isn't available through the major Aussie telcos, but, if you're interested, it can't be bought through online stores, like MobiCity.

Sony Ericsson Txt

Sony Ericsson Txt Basic Phone was launched in October 2011, comes with a 2.55-inch TFT LCD Capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels at a pixel density of 157 pixels per inch. The screen is also protected by a Scratch Resistant display.

Although Sony Ericsson has been busy of late with its high-end Xperias, the company has also had time to launch the Sony Ericsson txt - a cheap and cheerful messaging phone.

Vodafone Sony Ericsson Txt Mobile Phone

Bought this phone for myself,i am now saving it for my daughter as i cannot return it. The buttons are too small and it's very difficult to see the numbers. Can't say any more as i didn't even bother trying to use it

This was an ideal gift for hubby, much easier to use than his previous one and he is so pleased it does what he wants it to. Would certainly recommend it.

So far hubby hasn't found any yet.

Sony Ericsson is always a good bet and once more did not fail. I really this phone and so easy to use, shame it is not an iphone, because it has got everything.

The lack of a good explanation book, to use all the feature very well.
