Sony Ericsson W710

How do I know it's 443 steps from my house to the taqueria? My cell phone told me so. The Sony Ericsson W710's built-in pedometer is just one of this phone's

Excellent audio-both music and voice- in a pint-sized package (just 3.6 ounces). Impressive talk time of 8 hours, 20 minutes. FM radio included, as are email support and web browsing

Awfully thick, especially with pocket-unfriendly antenna bump. Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards are at least twice the price of MicroSD. Proprietary connector handles charging, USB connection, and headphones. White-gray-orange color scheme isn't pretty....

Sony Ericsson W710 review: Sports and music

What's better than a Walkman music player by your side while running in the park? Well, there is one and that is to have a Walkman phone and a pedometer in an all-in-one pack. Well, you've guessed it; it's the Sony Ericsson W710, the latest Walkman...

Sony Ericsson W710i

Hey, you! Yeah, I mean you, sitting on your butt reading this. It's time to get active—and Sony Ericsson has a new mobile phone to help you get motivated. Fun and sporty, the Sony Ericsson W710i is a top-notch handset for those really on the go. Not...

Unusual pedometer feature. Good call quality. Rugged

Doesn't integrate music with exercise as well as the Nike + iPod does

This mobile phone will actually help you live a more active lifestyle. Boasting an internal pedometer, it acts as fitness device that tracks your movements. It's also a Walkman-style digital audio player—and a pretty good cell phone, too.

Review: Sony Ericsson W710

Sony Ericsson's W710i is a Walkman phone with an athletic tilt, thanks to a built-in pedometer function and rubber external music control buttons. It may not look like a supermodel, but the W710i is still a good fun to be around.

Convenient music playback, built-in pedometer, Bluetooth stereo support

Poor outbound sound, stiff keypad, unconventional looks

While I don't consider it to be one of the better looking handsets the company has created, the Sony Ericsson W710i is still a very capable and fun handset to use.

Sony Ericsson W710i

The battery life on the W710i is impressive - Sony Ericsson claim that the device has up to 10 hours talktime with 14 days standby time. The handset weighs a reasonable 101 grams and measures 88x48x25mm - so it's not the lightest phone on the market,...

The W710i Walkman phone is built for an active lifestyle. Keep the beat, keep in touch, stay on the go - the W710i is the perfect companion to keep you moving in style.

Big screen on the front that can display lots of data (clock, alarms, text messages, appointments, etc.) ; Lots of buttons on the outside to let you control the walkman while the phone is closed ; Pedometer features are very accurate and even cooler...

It should also be noted that wotanserver allows you to flash a z710 with w710 software. The z710 doesn't have the hardware required for the pedometer so all of those features don't work, but anyone who wants the phone and isn't interested in the...
