Sony Ericsson Xperia X8

Few months ago, I bought 2 Xperia X8 phones. Until now, my 2nd phone has been failing of its sound playing and my 1st phone, when calling, the screen becomes not responding.

Not up to Sonys usual standard

My Xperia 8 has very poor battery life, my phone only gets light useage yet still have to recharge most days. Also the touchscreen isnt the most responsive and i find myself almost 'banging' the screen for the simplest of tasks like ending a call. The on screen text keyboard isn't the easiest to use either especially if you've got big fingers. On the plus side the phone is unobtrusive and sits easily in the pocket and looks stylish. Shame really but the Xperia 8 is the worst Sony Ericsson handset i've owned.

Great Product

My friend has this phone.. and i absolutely love it. Getting my own.. this August. Can't wait .. only thing is the Battery Life.. but if you charge it everynight it should get better.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Reviewed - Not Really Worth The Money

Very recently, we took a look at an interesting phone based on the Android 1.6 OS, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini / Mini Pro . A little while ago, the guys at Sony Ericsson released the Xperia X8, the next installment of the Xperia series. Although...

All in all, the purpose of this phone's existence is somewhat tricky to figure out. The Xperia X10 Mini/ Mini Pro, ship for almost the same price. Sure they both have smaller screens, but its 2.5-inch vs 3-inch, which is more of a personal choice. We...

Sony Ericsson X8 review: XPERIA in the middle

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 is likely to outsell the rest of the XPERIA droids. It's neither the best phone in the line-up, nor it's a phone to excite and inspire but it's the common denominator. It is right in the middle...

Quad-band GSM/EDGE, HSDPA 900/2100 / HSDPA 850/1900/2100 ; 3.0" capacitive TFT touchscreen of HVGA resolution, 16M colors ; Scratch-resistant screen coating ; Android OS v1.6 Donut with custom Sony Ericsson UI, featuring Timescape ; Qualcomm MSM7227...

Limited storage for installing third-party apps ; Outdated Android OS version ; No multi-touch support ; Camera lacks autofocus ; No DivX video support out of the box ; microSD slot under the battery cover ; No secondary video-call camera

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 has just made it to the market but parts of it still seem stuck in last year. At the same time though it is more than decently equipped for its 170 euro price tag. It has its downsides and those are easy to notice but there...

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 preview: First look

Sony Ericsson don't believe in the one-size-fits-all concept. Their XPERIA lineup stretches from XS to XL. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 fits right in the middle. A grown X10 mini or a smaller X10, the X8 will do well either way...

Compared to the X10 mini, the camera on the X8 has been downgraded to 3MP fixed-focus, but the screen has grown to a healthy 3 inches and the resolution has doubled –improving both the image quality and giving the custom Android UI more room to work with

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Preview

For good or bad, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is more similar to the X10 mini, than the X10, which is mainly because of the fact that it utilizes the X10 mini's user interface. On the hardware side however, it does a decent job at differentiating and...
