Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Review: Sony's stunning camera is let down by a disappointing display

Screen woes hamper this otherwise impressive device.

Amazing camera ; Decent battery life ; Smaller form factor without compromise

Low-res 720p display ; Stocky design ; Clunky UI

Big phones aren't for everyone, even those who desire a high-end collection of innards. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact addresses this cross section of the smartphone market. And almost perfectly. Screen quality is a legacy issue that the Compact line needs...

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Review

The new Xperia Z5 Compact is proof that good things come in small packages, but only if you were looking for a small package to begin with.

The Z5 Compact isn't fastest, cheapest or the phone with the best and most interesting software. There isn't a part of the phone that isn't replicated in a competitor's model. The key reason to consider the Compact is because of its size, and if you...

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact

Perhaps the unsung hero of Sony's new Xperia Z5 trio of devices, the Z5 Compact packs plenty of power despite its smaller packaging.

Well designed and put together; Surprisingly strong specs; Great camera and battery life

A bit too thick; Heats up while multitasking; A bit expensive

Xperia Z5 Compact Black 32GB Unlocked & SIM Free

A beautiful small phone that goes nicely in the pocket, with built in noise cancelling when used with the right earphones, and smooth performance

Nothing major springs to mind. Battery power generally good, but needs a little managing as is often the case with Android
