T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

With a solid QWERTY keyboard and the fastest camera we've ever seen on a phone, the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G is one formidable Android slider.

T-Mobile has another killer smartphone on its hands with the $199 myTouch 4G Slide. It may be on the hefty side and lacks some of the Sensation 4G's interface enhancements, but this handset has an amazingly fast camera that's packed with high-end...

T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide

Low price ; Impressive dual-core specs ; Great camera ; Runs Android 2.3 ; Hardware is solid, built well

Keyboard is flat ; Front camera is only VGA ; Phone is a bit heavy ; Some built-in apps need updating

For the $99 online price, The MyTouch 4G Slide is probably the best bargain on T-Mobile.

T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide Review - Photographers Wanted

When T-Mobile launched the G2, I was super psyched. It was an HTC-designed slider, ran the stock Android UI, and happened to be one of the first phones running Qualcomm's 2nd-generation Snapdragon (S2) chips. I was so psyched that I ended up buying...

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide review

Not too long ago, things were pretty simple in T-Mobile's Android land. For us (the nerds, geeks, power users, early adopters, and other misbegotten

Fantastic camera ; Pleasant and easy to use ; Solid and attractive hardware

Lackluster display and keyboard ; Performance could be better ; Average battery life

The myTouch 4G Slide is certainly a worthy contender in the race for best cameraphone, but Nokia's N8 still rules for now.

T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide (khaki)

Far too often a series of phones becomes dull routine, with the device manufacturer simply churning out yet another familiar model rather than designing something new. Not so with the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide. HTC could have simply changed the colors,...

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide is a speedy 4G, dual-core smartphone with some great multimedia features

The keyboard is a little flat on the MyTouch 4G Slide, and while good, the camera tools don't live up to their mind-blowing promise

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide is a well-designed, feature-packed dual-core handset that can stand alongside today's premium smartphones.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide Review

In my possession I have HTC's latest attempt at a slider. This here is the myTouch 4G Slide running over on T-Mobile with those super fast 4G speeds. It takes everything you liked about the myTouch 4G and adds those few features we liked in the 3G...

If you feel you’d use the camera enough to warrant the purchase, and you want the hardware keyboard or are just a fan of the myTouch line in general — then yes this phone is awesome. It is the new HTC top dog over on T-Mobile (not counting the...

T-Mobile myTouch 4G review

Coming hot on the heels of the ultra-impressive G2, T-Mobile has returned to its myTouch series with the myTouch 4G. While the G2 is the natural

T-Mobile MyTouch 4G (white)

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G is the latest addition to the carrier's MyTouch series of Android phones, and it brings a slew of design and feature enhancements. With a more solid build, the Android 2.2 smartphone feels like a premium device and has the goods...

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G features a thin and sturdy design. The Android 2.2 device supports the carrier's HSPA+ network and offers Wi-Fi calling and mobile hot spot capabilities. The MyTouch 4G also has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 5-megapixel camera.

Speakerphone volume is too low. We had numerous issues with video calls. The smartphone is a little on the heavy side.

Though video chat isn't ready for prime time, there's plenty to love about the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G, including its speed, sleek and sturdy design, and great call quality.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

There's no way around it: The MyTouch 4G Slide is a brick. While it's similar in size to many other smartphones (4.8 by 2.4 by .52 inches—HWD), at 6.5 ounces, it's unusually heavy. But it feels well-built from good materials; the front is black glass...

Fast. Excellent camera. Very good keyboard

Heavy. Voice quality is only average

The big, beautiful, Android-based myTouch 4G Slide is T-Mobile's most powerful handset to date, so it's our latest Editors' Choice for keyboarded smartphones on T-Mobile.
