Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router - 802.11b/g/n

At just around $50, the Linksys E1200 is the most affordable in Cisco's new refreshed E series of Wireless-N routers. For this reason, it's also the one that offers the least. It's a single-band router with no bells and whistles. In our testing, it...

The affordable Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router is compact, good-looking, and easy to use

The Linksys E1200 has slow throughput and short range, and lacks most commonly available advanced features such as dual-band, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB ports

Underpowered but supereasy to use and affordable, the Linksys E1200 makes a good entry-level Wireless-N router for home users.

Does not work with eMule.

No high ID in eMule.

Easy to use, high speed, great features. Excellent in every respect except that I cannot get a high ID in emule, which is the single most-important criteria to me

You can't get a high ID with eMule with this modem. This probably means you can't use port forwarding for some other applications either

A decent wireless router that is pefect for apartments.

This does the trick just fine for my laptop in my small apartment.

Inexpensive. Always gets a full connection. Easy to install

May not have enough power for a larger household

Great router

Installs itself with a minimum of hassle. Security is automatically setup when you install it from the CD provided. Lets you make an easy key on a flash drive to configure all computers on your network

Only one speed, but O.K. for home users who are not data-instensive

I had a Linksys router before, I had the 54 with dual antenna it had a maximum speed of 50 bps the E-1200 had a speed of 65 bps. It has to be about the easiest to install, it is software installed, the hardest thing you have to do is to think up the...

Good router once configured

I bought this router to replace an older wireless G device. It was entirely too slow and horrible the first few days. I went online and found an issue with this router and Comcast cable. If you use this with a Motorola SB6121 modem, Comcast doesn't...
