LOW VOLUME OUTGOING MSG, BAD RECORDING QUALITY

I connected this device to an IP phone line. I use the preset outgoing recorded message and people receiving it say it has very low volume. On the other side, the messages received sound very high and distorted. I am not sure if these problems have to...

A basic system - that works well

I needed a basic system - answering machine for calls when I was away - and a cordless phone to allow me to "roam" while talking. I didn't want to spend a fortune and didn't need a complex system. The Uniden package fit the bill for me>About me......

In hindsight, $35 is not enough to spend on a single handset digital answering system. Great that you can add handsets later and that it has caller ID and caller waiting but not enough signal strength at 300 mAh. The phone intermittently loses strength...
