Xcute DV1 reviewed

Phoneyworld has a review of that crazy-looking Xcute DV1 whose main claim to fame (besides its, uh, funktastic fashion sense) is its 3 megapixel camera. As you'd hope, the still and video aspects of the camera don't disappoint. They also...

Review: XCute DV1

The DV1 is a new 3 megapixel cameraphone from XCute Mobile of Taiwan that can also shoot VGA video clips at a whopping 30 frames per second. When opened up, it even looks like a miniDV video camera. But how well does it really work? Read our review to...

Xcute DV1

More than just a mobile handset, the DV1 also multitasks as a 3-megapixel still camera, high-quality video camcorder and MP3 player.

Strong multimedia features; smooth video captures; onboard high-resolution digital camera; loud speaker; sharp LCD display; memory expansion slot

Bulky design; unintuitive user interface; voice recordings slightly muffled; poor keypad design

The DV1 makes a handy traveling companion, particularly for those into image/video recording and music playback. However, everyday mobile phone users may find it hard to compromise on the extra bulk and not-so-intuitive user interface.

No idea, haven't bought it yet
