ZTE Score M (MetroPCS)

The ZTE Score M is inexpensive and comfortable, but that doesn't make up for its shortcomings.

Affordable monthly plans. Comfortable size to hold and use.

Mediocre call quality. Poor camera. Slow, dated processor. No 3G.

OS, Multimedia, and Conclusions The Score M runs Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread). There's no word on an update to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and you shouldn't count on one. ZTE has added some light customizations to Android, which are mostly visual,...

ZTE Score M (MetroPCS) review

Because they are nearly identical devices, our review for the ZTE Score M on MetroPCS' network heavily borrows from our review of the ZTE Score on Cricket Wireless.

The ZTE Score M's design is sturdy but light. Call quality is decent and the battery is longer lasting.

The Score M's display has a narrow viewing angle, the processor is sluggish, and it comes with a lot of bloatware.

Though the ZTE Score M makes satisfying calls, its sluggish processor and network speeds aren’t worth the trouble.

ZTE Axon M Smartphone Review

Will that work? ZTE delivers the first "foldable" smartphone. While we would have imagined something else, the statement is right in principle. With its two displays and hinge in between, the Axon M reminds us a little of the old Nokia Communicator,...

two screens with various display modes ; camera with many adjustment settings ; excellent speakers

low battery life ; expensive ; low display brightness ; bad WLAN (in the pre-production model)

The ZTE Axon M is not just any smartphone. If you consider the hardware equipment and its performance in the benchmarks, the device should not cost more than 300 Euros (~$370). However, with the second screen, the phone receives a unique feature for...

ZTE Score M Review

Trying to get their foot into the heavily coveted high-end smartphone spectrum, Chinese manufacturer ZTE has been focusing its efforts in this lucrative part of the market, but at heart, they're still known to pump out inexpensive low-end devices....

Really cheap price ; Lightweight

Cheap feeling construction ; Bland design ; Sluggish overall performance ; Inadequate battery life ; Terrible signal strength

So, what did we see with the ZTE Score M? Essentially, this is one of those kinds of smartphones where the notion of “you get what you paid for” is its perfect summation. Indeed, it’s wonderful that it’s priced at $50 without a contract, but even with...
