Sprint Vital Review

The Sprint Vital is a respectable Android phone with a comfortable design, good screen, and a few standout features. Sadly, battery life and call quality hold it back.

The Sprint Vital fits comfortably in with other mid-range Android phones in the $50 – $100 price range. It combines some elements and features found on flagship phones with internal hardware that was high end last year and is now affordable. Call...

Sprint Vital review:

Packing a 13-megapixel camera, a dual-core processor, and an expansive 5-inch HD screen, the Sprint Vital (also known as the Virgin Mobile Supreme ) joins the ranks of the Warp Sequent and Sprint Flash as high-end phones from Chinese manufacturer ZTE.

The Sprint Vital/Virgin Mobile Supreme has a big, bright 5-inch screen, a decent 13-megapixel camera, and a competitively low price tag.

The Vital comes with a lot of bloatware, the home button can be unresponsive, and call quality is mediocre.

While the Sprint Vital is ZTE's best handset to date, the HTC One outshines it by miles for the same price.

Sprint Vital

The Sprint Vital smartphone gets you a big screen and a solid camera for a good price, but everything else is just average.

Large, sharp display. Nice camera. Good price.

Mixed call quality. Average specs. Lackluster headphone audio quality.

Though not a household name, we have found Chinese manufacturer ZTE to have some solid value offerings on Sprint through carrier branded devices like the Flash, Force and Fury. The Sprint Vital breaks with the f naming convention, offering a minor...

Display is vibrant but natural and works well in all lighting conditions ; Mostly stock build of Android ; Good fit and finish

Poor phone performance and questionable battery life ; Camera doesn’t hold up to rigorous testing ; Could use a second GB of RAM

ZTE continues to make solid handsets for the budget minded, but their problem is that they just can’t stack up with the big boys. The display, system performance and build quality are all good, but not great, and the Vital takes a serious hit in the...

Review: ZTE Vital for Sprint

ZTE aims a little higher than entry-level devices with the Vital, a low-cost Android smartphone for Sprint. It is big on specs, but is it big on performance?
