Gaggia Classic

Very disappointed that this had so many moving parts. Found it difficult to set up and then performance was testy with espresso half way across the kitchen and then the frothed tip flew off as well!

Less than I had hoped for

I've had my Gaggia Classic for nearly two years after having purchased it through Amazon and getting an Amazon-sponsored discount off of the $500, don't-bother-looking-around-it's-the-same-everywhere price. As this is my first home espresso maker, it ...

Good pump pressure

Cheap construction. REALLY noisy. Requires two right hands to froth milk.

Good machine for espresso, not so much on Lattes

I've had mine for a year now. The initial learning curve was pretty steep. It took me a month to really get good, which I hear, isn't bad. I suspect, as with all machines, the bean type (oils) and the grind, etc REALLY make a difference on the shot ...

High pump pressure, reliability, uhhhhh I like my drinks I make.....

High performance home machine can last for generations.

A little slower to froth than it's closest rival.

It's hard to beat the Gaggia Classic

The Quest for espresso perfection While working in the gourmet coffee industry, I have to admit, I got a little too picky about my espresso. It is to the point now where I will go out for a cup and silently critique everything the barista ...

Nearly foolproof perfect espresso drinks.

Many people will stop at the $500 price.
