It seems good and servicable, make two large mugs, what only coffee pot makers call 2-4 pots but that's fine with me. The coffee tastes like average drip coffee, it's okay. Does come out nice and hot and doesn't seem to spill or splatter while being made.

Going to take it back to the store, open the box of another one and if the lid does the same thing, I'll go with another brand.
