Coffee 'n' Spice 'n' All Things Nice....

Intro About ten years ago I began making my own mustards. One of the pre-requisites for doing this successfully was a coffee grinder (the recipe book suggested keeping a grinder specifically for this purpose). Faced with a range of products, ...

Compact, sturdy, reliable, versatile. Ideal for one or two people.

A bit noisy. The cord tends to twist and is difficult to flatten out.

To Grind Or Not To Grind -- Braun Coffee Grinder KSM

My husband drinks coffee every morning and we have been using beans and grinding them for over 12 years. The last grinder we had lasted just over five years at which time it quickly died. Since the last one was a Braun and we had been happy with ...

Braun Coffee Grinder KSM2: so simple, it's criminal

Make some more? We work 36 hours on, 18 off, which is 90 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. For that, we are paid $23,739 before taxes, and we also have to *make* the coffee? - Dr. Peter Benton, E.R. One would think that with a user name ...

elegant design, portable, only two parts, durable, dual-usage as spice grinder

noisy operation, not as versatile as the Braun KMM-30

Grinding Flax Seed In a Coffee Grinder!

Dare I admit it? I don’t drink coffee. So why does this non-coffee drinker own a coffee grinder? Being health conscious, I use flax seed when baking. The Braun Coffee Grinder – model KSM 2/4 does a great job grinding those hard flax ...

Easy to use, evenly grinds, fine grind in seconds, safety on/off switch, compact unit.

Measurement markings on the lid arent marked well and are not explained.

An absolute steal at the price!

Coffee grinders basically come in two "flavors:" either the more respected and preferred "burr" type grinder, also known as a coffee mill, or the infinitely more popular "chopper" type grinder. The Braun KSM-2 is a "chopper" grinder. A coffee mill ...

Grinds beans almost as evenly and finely as a far more expensive coffee mill

None that I can think of.

Good machine? Yes, but not a perfect one.

Clearly, most people are very happy with their Braun grinder. I've got two and I like them pretty w ...

Gets the job done. Cord stores. Looks nice.

Not as durable as could be .

I'd buy a better one at this point

First of all, pouring the hot coffee into it (while it was plugged in) didn't hurt it. It lasted about a year beyond that.

see-through top, easy to use, survived pouring hot brewed coffee into it

Have had 2 - both stopped working

Dealing with the Daily Grind

Grinds the beans well for good coffee

LOUD

Consumer review by:

Don't bother; this one's bad.

The old adage, "you get what you pay for" is certainly true in this case. The Braun was the lowest-priced coffee grinder -- don't you dare call it a "mill"! -- in town. While a mill has two stones which grind the coffee beans, this Braun and most...

Low price, widely available.

Poor results, uneven grind, chops beans instead of milling them, messy.

10 years of well-ground coffee

My Braun KSM2 was purchased in the summer of 1992 as I prepared to go away to college. It has been in daily to weekly use for 10 years now. The Mr. Coffee I bought at the same time has been dead for seven years, but this grinder still performs as well...

10 years old and still works great ; inexpensive ; tidy cord storage

Impossible to thoroughly clean hopper
