Better than newer version

 

Went back to old version to replace 10 year old. Ten years is old for coffee maker, so I got my money's worth back then. Bought the newer burr grinding updated version. It will not feed the beans and the coffee ends up weak. Fed up with burr 'no grind'...

I like the fact that this coffeemaker grinds beans, but don't like that it's not set for auto brew. When I forget to push the On/Off button, the grind feature kicks in (usually scaring me!). I will have to re-read the brochure again. Maybe I missed...

If you just want something to make good coffee without all of the bells & whistles, this is the pot for you. It's a little tricky getting the basket out for cleaning but if you hold your mouth just right... Excellent coffee pot for the price.

The coffeemaker is nice and compact for small counters. Simple to use and you get a great cup of fresh coffee. Grinds beans finely and quickly. Easy clean-up too.
