Delonghi Electric Coffee Grinder body integrity doesn't last very long.

 

I like the compact size, the design looks great in the kitchen.

Canister cracked, the coffee stopped getting sucked down.

An okay grinder

 

I received this grinder as a birthday gift in early 2003. In the year since it has ground a lot of coffee, this is what I have found. It does not really seem to matter what grind I set the dial to, it always comes out at a grind level ...

Thought this was the last grinder I'd buy - NOT

 

Saw the DeLonghi at Costco for $24.95 and thought it looked like a great deal. I had been looking for a grinder that would hold beans and this one, with it's self-timer seemed the way to go. How wrong I was.

Grinds nicely, decent storage for about three pots worth of beans, attractive inexpensive

Gets jammed ALWAYS, can be messy, seems to miss beans

The DeLongi, or any burr grinder that speeds at 1500 rpm and blows the coffee into a tub, is worse than any blade grinder that you can twist up and down and sideways. I bought my DeLongi at CostCo for $25. So it was worth the experience. The coffee...
